Amazing location and relaxing atmosphere. The tamales are a great plus! The only reason why I would shop regularly is because the same items of certain brands are available at Sprouts or Trader Joe’s for cheaper. However, shopping here would be great for convenience if you live in Davis.
I'd been to Ikeda's (pronounced I-Kay-Duh's -- I thought it was I-KEY-Duh but learned otherwise!) in Auburn a number of times to pick up a burger or grab a pie. I was delighted to find out that there was a location closer to me in Davis. Went there recently to pick up a pie for Christmas. No burgers at this location, but it was also MUCH less crowded than what I'd experienced at the other. They still had a good, though smaller, selection of pies, including frozen and fresh. Bought some beef chicken pies. Very tasty. We also bought a bunch of goods. But we bought a tasty treat. It was granola almond slivers honey and a big portion of love ❤️ because it was so so so tasty. We spotted it as we were checking out. My wife just thought it looked good. We are going back just for the bars.
