Ordered delivery tonight. A gyro meal and a protein bowl. I've ordered from the Woodland store so I had an idea of what to expect. I not only assumed some consistency would happen by ordering something we've had before but also for a resemblance of what is advertised in the photos as selling points. The gyros arrived rolling around, loosely wrapped in foil. Each pita had a few cold strips of meat only. No sauce, no vegetable. The protein bowl came with no sauces, no green cabbage. So bummed to have invested money into this. I known everyone has an off day but this is over the top disappointing.

The protein bowl came with no sauces and no green cabbage. Such a huge expense for such a disappointing delivery. I know this place can do better - this is out of the Davis store. Kicking myself for wasting money on this.

Great food! I got the falafel plate with many of their vegetable options. Every part was seasoned great (especially the carrots!). And on top of everything the staff was very kind and welcoming.

I was excited to find a new Mediterranean place but was completely disappointed. There was one employee who was not helpful . When I asked what came in the protein bowl, he simply stated everything . The flavor of food was subpar at best.

Normally very good food. But today the vegan shawarma was awful! Something has changed about the way they make it. The falafel was good. Disappointed since the shawarma used to be my favorite.
I stopped into Chick Peas this evening for some delicious pita and hummus. The customer service was outstanding. Leanne was friendly and answered all my questions about the items on the menu. She was knowledgeable about the Mediterranean food offered in the restaurant. I couldn’t thank her enough, so I'm writing this review in hopes that she will see it. Thanks again Leanna.

I normally don’t do too many reviews, but this was such an exceptional experience I had to. First the food was amazing. I travel up and down California so I eat at a lot at Greek restaurants, and this was by far one of the best I’ve been to. The food is delicious and worth coming for. I ordered the gyro plate and will definitely be coming back. Of course, we’re all expecting to have great food when we eat out, but what made this experience so fantastic was not only the amazing delicious food, but the employee named Steven. I called the location to make sure was open due to Covid. Steven was helpful on the phone, politely answered all of my questions and offered to take my order over the phone. I declined because I wanted to go into the store and look at the menu. I’ve never eaten there before and I wanted to review all the options and get a vibe of the restaurant before I ordered. When I arrived Steven was even more helpful and did a fantastic job with customer service. Thank you for a wonderful experience Steven.

I felt very welcomed by the friendly staff. That was my first impression. I ordered the salad plate with basmati rice. It's a lot of food for $10! And man, it is GOOD! It included 6 different kinds of fresh vegetable salads, hummus, baba ghannouj, pita, cucumber and tomato. He also asked if I wanted to sample the falafel. Everything has a yummy, fresh flavor.

This used to be my favorite restaurant in Davis. Delicious food, large portions, and very reasonable prices. However, yesterday changed all of that. I brought a few friends and we were shocked to see that the worker behind the counter was not wearing a mask. At this point in the pandemic, that is unacceptable. He is potentially contaminating the food. My friends were uncomfortable eating there after seeing that and we took our business elsewhere. I was embarrassed that a restaurant I had suggested would so flagrantly flout the rules and put us all at risk for coronavirus. Chickpeas seems not to care about the health of their customers and the Davis community. I am super disappointed.

This is my favorite restaurant in Davis!! Really good falafel and they let you top your plate with whatever you want from the salad bar. This is the first time I've been since Covid so I was worried about the salad bar experience being different but the guy that helped me was so beyond kind. He gave me six scoops of exactly what I wanted, where I wanted in my plate. He was incredibly considerate and thoughtful the whole time and honestly put me in such a good mood. I don't know his name but I think he was wearing some kind of small woven hat with holes? He worked so hard to make everything perfect for me and I really appreciate it!
