Not that good ): Went with my Bf's Roomate because we were bored around December and wanted to try the frozen yogurts in the Davis area but this place is not that good. It's kinda stinky inside and very small. The outside layout is cute and in a nice area. The worker was nice but the selections seemed old and dull. I think for college students this is a yes if you're craving frozen yogurt but we also went to try different places around the area the same day and I would recommend them instead of here.

Was initially going to rate Cultive 4 stars, but the poor and unfair service overrides my tastebuds. Cultive is like any other frozen yogurt shop. You grab a cup, serve yourself frozen yogurt, and add any toppings you want. When I first entered the shop, I asked the worker (I think he may be the owner) if I can sample a frozen yogurt flavor. I prefer to try the different frozen yogurt flavors to ensure I spend my well earned money on the flavor I enjoy best! The owner then told me that they do not give out samples. I kindly understood and thought that maybe they don't give samples because some customers may take advantage of this or because of Covid. I ended up purchasing my frozen yogurt anyways and was glad that I enjoyed the flavors I chose without being able to sample them initially. The reason Cultivive deserves 1 star is because, as I was finishing up my frozen yogurt, a mom and her two children walked in, asked the owner for samples, and he provided them with spoons and told them they can sample the frozen yogurt with the spoons he provided. I thought this was unfair as about 10 minutes prior, the owner told me he doesn't give out any samples. I didn't want to believe this could be prejudice based on my age, or the color of my skin, but I couldn't help but think it. I will not be coming back.

My hubby, our daughter and I knew we had to try this self-serve froyo shop as soon as we saw the adorable rainbow caterpillar! I chose the Pineapple Dole Whip with Sliced Strawberries, Strawberry Boba, Almonds, Coconut and light Whip. Mm such a classic flavor and the best toppings, especially the popping boba! 5/5 stars, I would HIGHLY recommend trying this combination! Our daughter chose the Strawberry Shortcake with a little Classic Chocolate, with Strawberry Boba, Rolled Wafer Cookie, Marshmallows, Gummy Brains, Gummy Bears, Chocolate Rocks, Caramel, Whip and Maraschino Cherries. She loved the froyo and toppings she chose! A staff member even topped it off with a pink umbrella, too sweet! I would HIGHLY recommend this froyo shop, nice they have outdoor seating available so we were able to bring our puppy Midnight! We'll definitely be returning to try more of their flavors and endless toppings next time we're in Downtown Davis!

An unassuming exterior yields five frozen yogurt machines with ten wonderful flavors! Go for the Dulce de leche and coffee for an afternoon frozen yogurt run! Temp and consistency of the frozen yogurt were very pleasing. I am not a big fan of adding a lot of toppings, nonetheless I was very happy with the fresh topping options.

Cultivé is the perfect refreshment on a hot day! I love the variety of flavors and toppings, especially the fruit and sorbet flavors like Pineapple Dole Whip. Make sure to take advantage of the 10% student discount if you're a Davis student :D The inside was also really clean and the owner(?) who greeted us was very nice :)
