This restaurant staff is very bad , rude and disrespectful ! They take a long time to complete order and when we say why its taking too much time, he being rude and did not deliver !
Worst service ever ! Dont go there

Good sushi

Sushi was surprisingly yummy. Got the lion king roll (had lots of salmon) and tiger roll which were both very good

If you want your money’s worth this is the place. The other reviews are correct, the portions are generous and the employees are extremely kind! Pork Katsu was super crisp, sushi was fresh, tempura tasty and not too oily. They mainly do takeout orders so don’t expect the most handsome dine-in experience, it’s very casual. I would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a simple sushi spot, it did not disappoint.

Wide selection of foods! Ample proportions! Really one of the best sushi and fusion restaurants in Davis!

The Super Philly Roll and Davis Roll were absolutely delicious—the salmon tasted incredibly fresh! One small suggestion would be to package the rolls in separate containers, especially when they're for two people, but it’s not a big issue. Also, the bottled lemon green tea was a perfect pairing—so refreshing and full of flavor. Overall, a satisfying experience!

When did this place reopen??
Wow! The meal we had tonight (Hawaiian roll, Rainbow roll, age tofu) was extraordinary. Extremely fresh, large portions, absolutely delicious! We last ate here in June 2023, and it has improved greatly since then!

the worst katsudon ever. at first, a women told me they cannot make katsudon and after i order tendon, she suddenly said that she can make kashudon. after 9, you can only do to go. no sauce, no egg, saltiest katsudon ever. i will never come here again.

I ordered through DD and the sushi was over sauced, huge, and falling apart. I ordered apps with it and that the only reason it isn't 1 star ):

Ordered three rolls which all fell apart none of them were actually rolled and none I mean none looked like the picture and besides falling apart tasted dreadful never going here

Tried Davis Sushi & Fusion for the first time as we live close by. Decent Nigiri Sushi. We ordered miso soup, steamed pot stickers, and Nigiri Combo. Food was fine but this is obviously more of a take out sushi restaurant rather than a dine in. All dishes were served on plastic. Decent food and will have to try other dishes to determine if this will be a go to Sushi restaurant. As of now it might turn out well for take out but will have to give it another try. For dine in it is not there yet. Also, it doesn’t appear they have their liquor license yet. Our hope is that they will evolve to more typical sushi restaurant. We will try it again but not for dine in unless the environment improves.

When I arrived they were closed. Even though they were supposed to be open. After waiting for 10 minutes someone arrived and my order was not ready. I had to wait an additional 10 minutes for my food. And then what is start eating it discovered it had no flavor. This was the worst sushi I've ever had. I will never return.

They made two beautiful and generous sushi platters for a party. Worked with me to select rolls for a picky crowd. I wish I’d taken pictures, but they got eaten too fast! The owners are always there working. It’s a small, local family-run place and they take care of you. I’m so happy they moved to the Lake Blvd location. Super convenient, don’t have to deal with finding parking downtown.
