I'm door Dasher who went in to pick up my customers order, wasn't ready. Was told 25 minutes. I informed the customer and waited. I was then told another 20 minutes. I finally got the order. Delivered as fast as I could. Got in trouble for the order being 28 minutes late.
YOUR LACK OF HASTE ALMOST COST ME MY JOB YOU JERKS. I WILL NEVER PICK UP AN ORDER FOR A CUSTOMER AGAIN FROM YOUR ESTABLISHMENT.
ITS DOORDASH, NOT DOOR-WAIT. IM PUTTING MYSELF THROUGH WELDING SCHOOL. AND YOU ALMOST RUIENED THAT. BE FASTER AND DO YOUR DAHM JOB.
I CANT RISK ACCEPTING A DASH ORDER FROM YOU GUYS. 45 MINUTES!
UNACCEPTABLE.

Great service and decent Chinese food. They use a bit more oil compared to some Chinese places but flavors are still delicious

Nice to have such an authentic Szechuan experience in town. Cumin lamb, boiled fish fillets, eggplant+green beans are staples.

We got the Hunan style noodles with beef, pork and cabbage dry pot, and eggplant and green beans. All the dishes were so tasty!

Parking: Free parking lot with plenty of spots available.

Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly restaurant. High chairs are available for babies. No booster seats for smaller kids. Most dishes are spicy, so may not be kid-friendly in that sense.

The food might be great. I would not know. For the lack of their flexibility for a few minutes after three wanting a lunch special that ended at three. In addition to I wanted vegetables with a little bit of chicken and they could not sway from the menu. This means to me that it’s a franchise and I don’t believe it’s a franchise, I won’t be back

This place is the real deal when it comes to Hunan food. Someone said it’s the best in the Sacramento area which I agree with but also think it beats the Hunan food around Berkeley and the East Bay by taste and price. We got the eggplant preserved egg - spicy and sour and delicious, stir fry cabbage and smoked pork and rice noodles with pickled beans and ground meat - everything was SO GOOD and reasonably priced with generous portions. We will definitely come back again when we pass by Davis. This is legit Chinese food that represents Hunan authentically - go here to be cultured with your Chinese food ;))

The pork ribs were delicious, but the cold beef and noodles were too salty. So salty that it makes you feel bitter

Horrible food. Actually inedible. Hunan chicken was fried with bones in it. Cilantro beef overwhelming cilantro taste. Threw it all away.

If you like spicy food, you must go here! Always parking available which is helpful. A lot of people, so the service was a little slow. Great authentic Hunan style in Sacramento area. Really enjoy the large gallon size of water container at the table you get because you will feel the spice at some point.I recommend getting the eggplant with green beans ($14.95) since it very fresh, cooked nicely, not spicy at all. The spicy flounder fish ($24.95) is indeed SPICY, will numb your mouth but does go away, the sauce does contain a lot of veggie options such as bean sprouts, wood ear mushroom, king oysters which is worth it for portion size and ingredients in the meal. Dan Dan noodles ($12.95) were alright, just mixed in with diced pickled mustard greens. Overall, the food was spicy and fresh.

Parking: Plenty of spots

This place is so tasty and the service is so fast. Go there if you love spicy and don’t want the typical panda express dishes. 10/10 would go there again.

Hands down the best Hunan food, or just Chinese food, in the great Sacramento region. If you are not up for the authentic Chinese food or remotely understand what is like being authentic Chinese, don’t bother to come here, Panda Express is next to the freeway.Everything was just authentically Hunan, makes me homesick af

This is the best Chinese restaurant in Davis, very authentic! And I’m really offended by that Jarret in the review saying that food looks like dog food, excuse me, it’s a special dish from my hometown. Just because you never ate meat on bones in USA, it doesn’t mean the rest of the world don’t enjoy it. So narrow minded!
