If you are not careful, you will never see this place! All you really see from the street is their front door. They are so much a part of the line of stores on the block, that if you are not looking for them, you may not know they exist. That is how it was for me, living here in Davis for several years before someone from out of town wanted to meet there for dinner. If you are looking for a relaxed dining experience with significantly better than average food to impress someone who is, or is becoming, important to you, then you need to find this place, and quickly. Each time I go there, I am impressed with how wonderful the food is. If I truly went on about how incredible my last dining experience was, most of you would probably believe this is a fake review. So I will simply say their food is undeniably excellent! Since the venue itself is relatively small (slightly more than a dozen tables), you get plenty of attention from the wait staff. It is obvious that the food is individually prepared, with no "out-of-the-can" ingredients. Just go and see for yourself. They are a half block away from the train station. Keep looking. You will find them. It will be worth the effort!

Nice little gem for happy hour :)

Cozy spot to grab a snack or a full meal and a drink. Staff have always been great. They have great cocktails and wines. While the beer selection is small they rotate often and I've always been able to find something I liked in. They have good selection of happy hour appetizers and snacks. I have never left disappointed.

The food was great but they gave our reservation to another group of 7 people.

Wish I could rate them higher. My first time was a great experience. The food was presented well and the flavours were delicious. If your looking for a place for date night or prom visit Our House. If your visiting and would like place to relax and enjoy a nice dinner this might be the place for you. Enjoy

I really looked forward to eating here, being on the pricier side and us being a young couple we decided to go there for happy hour when my husband got off work on a Friday. The first Friday we went it was booked for a private function, the next week we got there and a sign on the door said graduation weekend was too busy to do happy hour until 6pm. The following week we decided to get ahead of it and made a reservation an hour beforehand. However we got there to find there was a wedding rehearsal dinner on and they had kept a couple tables aside for regular dinners. So we couldn't sit bar side. Realistically it was too loud to hear ourselves talk to each other at the table they did seat us at and they should have just told us about the wedding dinner before they took our reservation. Fourth time lucky - ( yeah the menu looked great so we were eager to try eat here) we got in ordered the meatballs, brussel sprouts and shrimp to share and then burgers and the spaghetti squash as a main. It was so disappointing. The meatballs and brussel sprouts were fine. The meatballs had a lovely sauce. The shrimp was overcooked. My mother in law asked for her burger to be cooked well, half the burger was cooked well and the other half cooked just under medium. My husbands burger was ordered medium and it came out quite unevenly and under cooked in parts also. He didn't mind, but my mother in law who likes meat well cooked didn't eat most of hers. Overall it makes me think their grill is cooking unevenly which can be a sign it's needs cleaning. She pointed it out to the waiter after and he apologised but didn't offer anything to rectify it. The spaghetti squash lacked any sort of seasoning. A bit of salt when cooking it would have gone a long way to bring out the flavours. It was also served lukewarm. - I'm still unsure if that was intentional. Even the pesto on top of it didn't give it any real flavour. Finally when we got the bill we had been charged full price and not the happy hour prices, for the appetisers, luckily we noticed before we paid and they rectified that.

Best craft cocktails in Davis!! Great happy hour. Nice atmosphere to lounge and relax in. Really great chicken picatta and Mac n cheese! If you like oysters, they're super fresh!

Oh and the menu on the site is different to in restaurant or the spaghetti squash I got was made up on the spot. Happy hour appetiser prices advertised on their site are also wrong. They advertised them all at $5 but I believe the brussel sprouts were $6 and the other apps $8

Thursday evening jazz sesh is why I go there. The food is great and the ambiance í little classier than most places around town. Cocktails are delicious.

The Happy Hour here is probably the best in town, to my knowledge, for quality drinks and food. (4-6 pm) Their drinks are on point. I like the pisco sours. For food, I've tried (and liked) the brussels sprouts, banh mi meatballs!, prosciutto wrapped shrimp, carnitas mac n cheese. Great ambience. Feels like you're at an upscale bar restaurant in SF with sensible prices. It's a very inconspicuous and hidden place. My old roommate who's a local from Davis took me here. There is a banquet room in the back that they rent out for events.

Great ambiance, great food and great service. We enjoyed it much more than the more well known American restaurant down the street. I will be returning.

Really good cocktails and food, so long as you don't mind waiting flee the second coming of Christ before you get served.

We had a blast at Our House for our soccer team party. Cassandra (General Manager) made great menu suggestions and accommodated our budget. She made sure we have everything needed for an NBA playoff game viewing party at their private room. Our hungry athletes were able to drink and eat as soon as we came in and enjoyed watching the game on a projector screen in the room, which is a perfect size for a group of 30. Cassandra was also there during the event and took care of all food and beverage refills. You can't expect a better service on a busy Saturday night at anywhere else in Davis.

They just catered a party of 20 at "my house" Chicken Piccata was talk of the party. Some guests thought it was the best Teriyaki Salmon they ever had. The meatball appetizer was to die for. I've eaten there many time. Always a terrific meal, Creative menu, warm atmosphere, attentive staff. What more do you want?

Great service and probably pretty upscale for Davis BUT not my 1st choice if I had a choice. Steak was pretty decent though.
