Best bakery in town, with excellent breads, especially the raisin one!! Very good French baguettes too, and I recommend the cannelés (best pastry if anyone asks me). I really like their cookies! And how can we not talk about their pizzas which are also very good, especially the Fungus Amongus which is incredible. Smiling and pleasant staff. I recommend without hesitation.
Very delicious baked goods and had an excellent iced latte. Good service and had to stop back the same day for some more!

08/2024 Dropped by on a weekday. It wasn't super busy, but I visited during the afternoon, so that's to be expected. I purchased two baguettes (regular and sarmentine/wheat) and one Paris Brest, which totaled a little over $21.
The breads and pastry were AMAZING.
It is so. very. difficult. to find a good french baguette in the Davis/Sacramento area. This is the first baguette I've had that actually reminds me of the ones I had in France. They have the taste AND the texture just right! They even added their own twist by making a sarmentine/wheat version, which tasted nutty and toasty. Absolutely delicious! The Paris Brest was also delicious. The pastry was light and crisp, and the filling/cream was LIGHT but full of flavor.
The service was attentive, quick, and helpful - both on the phone and in person.
The atmosphere is also very welcoming and relaxing. They have indoor and outdoor seating. You can get a full view of kitchen from the front counter.
Would I come here again? 100%, absolutely! This bakery is as LEGIT as they come! Although the pastries are a bit pricey, with the quality they're pushing out, it's difficult to complain. When visiting Davis, I usually spend my time in the downtown core, but I'm willing to drive a few streets away just to stop by this bakery again!
