The staff was fantastic—very friendly and accommodating. That said, the water/soda from the dispenser had a noticeably off taste, and staff mentioned they were aware of an issue. That was concerning, especially since it was still being served. Hopefully it’s addressed quickly
The Wild Rose Tavern is a spacious and cool spot located in Death Valley, offering a golf course view and a nice atmosphere. It is a great place to hang out, featuring various games such as board games, darts, and Jenga, along with clean bathrooms. The tavern serves mostly bar food at reasonable prices. Drinks are also reasonably priced. However, during busier times, the tavern can become crowded. Some food items may run out. The terrace offers a great view of the green field with palms and trees. The air conditioning inside can be strong. The chili is delicious and a large portion. The beer was cold and the staff incredibly kind and attentive. The food is mostly premade products. The chicken on the salad was clearly pre-cooked and pre-cut from a bag. The tortilla chips were slightly stale. Everything takes so long. The server was alone waiting on the entire dining room with a single bartender to cover the entire bar. They probably had a single cook in the back.
