“Zanzibar is a chill above average (for price center) restaraunt. Decent selection if you are not concerned with your health and you eat meat. There is plenty of seating that can accommodate groups of 5 or more. It's an ideal location to host a lab lunch or host some visiting academics.“

“Monarch has the best pastrami sandwiches in San Diego. If you want a good meal, go to monarch for a pastrami sandwich and make sure to get a drink from Christina at the bar and Jack is a great server as well Xavier and Todd are phenomenal bartenders as well. They are very attentive and caring individuals. Really make you feel like you're at home when you're here at monarch Ocean pub. I'll definitely be back for another one.“
