It’s our annual place to be every August for the last
17 years: celebrating 50 years of marriage! The food, service and atmosphere right on the beach is heavenly. Our bartender Steve congratulated us and we talked for a short time. Everyone is so friendly, can’t beat the quality of their meals ! We drive out from Phoenix to have their specialty. Well worth the ride❤️❤️❤️
Disappointed by Unfair Treatment
Our family’s much-anticipated Sunday Brunch at Jake's Del Mar turned into a lesson on inequity, courtesy of the manager, Tony Reed. We had a reservation, arrived 15 minutes early, and specifically requested a window seat. Yet despite a 35-minute wait, we witnessed another guest, who walked in and disrespected host and wait staff, promptly took our spot after the staff escalated the unruly patron to Tony.
