We had an excellent dinner with friends on a Friday night. We had a reservation but it seemed like one could walk in with out even though it was pretty crowded overall at the Plaza. Food is always good, especially the eggplant dish. The Lychee Martini is tasty too. I forget to come here too often and hope to make more of an effort.
One of our favorite spots! Amazing food, great service, and so accommodating. My husband has a gluten free allergy and they always make adjustments. Last night was another fun night sitting outside enjoying great food, family and friends.
We've dined here many times over the years. The food is always fresh. Shimbashi has menu items that many Japanese restaurants do not carry and always interesting specials . We had omakase for two and our favorite bottle of sake. The service was outstanding. Our server was so pleasant and accommodating. Perhaps our best meal yet at Shimbashi.
