Descanso Junction Restaurant and Catering

It started out great. Appearance of restaurant was very nice outside and in. Hostess was great . Personable and helpful with her favorites . Sitting down , table wobbled which is weird for a nicer restaurant an noticed the one next to us did also. Waiter came and was nice and took our drink order . A Shirley temple, a can of non-alcoholic beer with no glass and a margarita was delivered to our table 30 min after ordering and after complaining twice . Now I understand if it was super busy but it was not and they had 3 bartenders . Food took a long time and was not very good. Manager came over and apologized and took drinks off our bill but said bar was backed up while the table next to us was getting refills and more drinks before we got out first round . Overall super disappointed and will never return .

Good food and drinks. Space felt a bit big, but definitely comfortable. A hidden gem on Wilshire 😁😇👍🏽

I was so disappointed with my reservation today, I understand it was a busy night but to have us wait till almost 11pm for appetizers only and drinks not even our food, we had reservations at 9:45pm it's not great!

Absolutely terrible they took over 2 and a half hours to come out with our food on valentines, and the food was overly mid

The food was excellent, as always. My husband and I have been to Descanso several times now and the food is always delicious.

They were all over the place and they took so long for them to take our order and also to bring our food we literally waited 1 hour and 30 minutes for them to bring our food to us.

Food was good. The service was not very good. The restaurant was pretty much empty, but we had to wait a long time to order drink drinks and he never came and checked on us.

They were very attentive and made sure that we were accommodated even after the fact that we were late and they were almost closing.

We did the Dine LA pre fixe and it was delicious!!! We also got chips and guacamole which was excellent! Definitely in my top 3. The DJ played the perfect 90's to present playlist. The interior was dark but very comfortable. TJ is a great wait staff. He was knowledgeable about the menu and explained the Plancha perfectly. We can't wait to experience it!

Really classic, cool, and warm ambience. Great selections of food, especially the guacamole and ceviche tropical. Awesome cocktails as well. The tacos were huge, but also made it harder to eat like a taco. The steak and pork belly were dry but flavors were good! Kids meals are quite large, although the rice wasn't a hit with us.

First time eating here. Our server Jesus was terrific and the food was very good. Wonderful place for happy hour.

Food was Amazing...Service was impeccable! Love the vibe...love the music and Restaurant itself was beautiful.

The food was delicious. The service was quick on a Thursday evening. Good value and great ambience.
