We had the best experience eating here. I had the Lengua Ranchera and my friend had California Steak Burrito. Both were amazing. I can't decide which one I'll choose next time I go there. The service was great. Both the host and our server were friendly and accommodating. We had just hiked the Three Sisters, so we were kinda impatient for the food, but the appetizing nacho basket that came with the delicious salsa kept us occupied. I have been to so many of the "best" Mexican restaurants in San Diego. This one is better than all of them. In dozens of visits, I have never had anything that is less than amazing. I think Veronica may be some kind of magical wizard or something. All served up from a lovely and friendly family with amazing service. Veronica's is worth going out of your way.
