“I have been to so many of the "best" Mexican restaurants in San Diego. This one is better than all of them. In dozens of visits, I have never had anything that is less than amazing. I think Veronica may be some kind of magical wizard or something. All served up from a lovely and friendly family with amazing service. Veronica's is worth going out of your way.”

“A country restaurant worth a drive. I live in Descanso, which is a little less than a half an hour from Alpine California. Normally mountain towns would not have the caliber of a restaurant like Descanso Junction Restaurant. (I can say this because I've lived in Utah, Colorado, Montana, and other small and large towns in the mountains) -you are lucky if you get a decent pizza. But this restaurant is a gem. The burgers are juicy, the chicken is mouthwatering, and the Jack Daniels tri-tip is to die for. On special occasions, like Valentine's Day, they serve a five star meal planned by Chef CJ. It's worth every dollar. So if you're looking for a rustic, yummy getaway, plan a trip to the Descanso Junction Restaurant.”

“Boars head deli meats and super fine eats! It was refreshing, a lovely way to spend an afternoon. They have indoor and outdoor eating, the breeze was nice. “Friendly service and delicious treats. I was the first customer on Thanksgiving and was just hoping to get a cup of coffee and a pastry for the drive. I was greeted with such a warm welcome and everything looked so good, I left with a whole box of goodies. They were a hit at Thanksgiving and I will definitely be back!”

“New 'temporary' location is too large of a space and results in long wait times for food service. Fortunately, the staff (as always) is exemplary and forewarned of the extended wait time, but entree orders took much longer to arrive than in former restaurant location. Food was great but we likely will not return until the new permanent location is complete.”

“Stopped here on a Sunday afternoon after playing in the snow in the Lagunas, and what a hidden gem! I hesitate to rave about them bc I'd rather not wait an hour for food once the crowds arrive (LOL) but rave, I must! “This is one of the best Starbucks I have been to in a long time. This morning they were running behind and the manager Jenna (sorry if I spelled it wrong) was calling out names of drinks she was starting on, along with letting people know how much time behind her crew was. I was able to get my sandwich but I had a Dr app to attend and I couldn't be late. I kindly asked Hanna if she could postpone my drink and I'd be back after to pick it up. There was 0 issues with that request, so I did just that! Upon arriving after my app, Jenna was at the register and remembered my order, kindly offered a larger drink than I ordered. I wish my starbucks closer to my house was this personable!!! They even remembered so many people's names and their orders as they walked in the door for pickup! Way to rock the customer service!Thank you crew for being kind and caring! You guys are doing an amazing job! Best customer service at this store. ? keep up the positivity!”

“This is a small but decent Wetzels. Always have good service here and the prices are very reasonable. Recently got the Jalapeño pretzel dog and s'mores bites and it hit the spot. The hot dog was well done just how I like it. They make the s'mores bits to order so it's not mushy and tastes good.”

“Definitely great place to try different types of Asian food. As an American Asian Pacific Islander Filipina - their menu has BBQ chicken skewers, lumpia & pork adobo. The lumpia & skewers were okay. The pork adobo is bomb! Just like my family makes, big a pepper corns, fatty pieces of pork with a sauce vinegar base. The only thing missing is the bay leaves to pick out. MASARAP NAMAN! The only comment about the adobo is they don't have chicken. Anyhow, the service is excellent. Staff are always on it with serving the food hot & fast. The place is always clean. Sleek in variations of wood, individual & family style seating. If you shopping at Viejas & have a hankering for Asian food - definitely should stop in.”
