Best kept secret in Desert Hot Springs... best food, prices, employees bar none. Vege nachos really good, salad, baked potatoes, Arnold Palmer drinks. One of favorite restaurants in USA, amazed there isn't a line out the door.

I enjoyed the Chicken Fried Steak for breakfast, accompanied by a side of pancake. The pancake was exceptionally fluffy and flavorful, and the chicken fried steak was perfectly cooked. Consistently, the food here meets a true 5-star standard, both in taste and presentation.

Good prices, great portions, and delicious food. Purchased day passes for the pools and had lunch at the Sunshine Cafe. We ate at the bar and Marlene took good care of us. Ordered a turkey club with potato salad and a basket of fries, there was plenty for two and everything tasted great. Definitely returning.
The breakfast is awesome! Highly recommend the biscuits and gravy! Everything is made fresh to order so you may wait a few minutes extra but it's worth the wait!

It’s a ray of “Sunshine Cafe”! ☀️Lisa/Gabriella/Shiloh/Sabrina/Michael/my boy Kip, they each receive large scale hugs upon arrival. Steven, the chef who took over Sunshine Cafe, puts his heart into every single dish. His chefs underneath him follow his same penchant for detail. It will exceed all expectations. Best biscuits & gravy in the desert. French Dip is great! Homeade soups/homeade sauces/gravies/salsa. All homeade. It’s made with love. And served with love. It makes me smile just thinking about Sunshine Cafe. These people are family, dear to my heart. ❤️💪🌴😎

Got the BBQ burger and the pattie melt. BBQ burger was good! Pattie Melt was okay. Was recommended the fries as a side but they were barely seasoned.

Went in at 9pm when the restraint closes at 10pm, waitress said when we walked in she “didn’t think she’d be here till 10pm” I had to grab my own menu and received two dirty looks with no service. I left and decided to go to a Casa Blanca 4 minutes down the road which was great!
