I decided to try this place because it used to be a Korean restaurant called born ga. Where it was pretty good. However this place was the complete opposite. Service was bad. Really bad. They don't cook the meat for you. Never got our rice bowls after asking the server twice. The meat quality was the same as lower quality ayce places. The pork belly were not cut equally. One side was thin and the other side was thick. It was also mostly fat as the picture I posted. I addressed this problems to the servers and she said that's how all of their cuts are. The restaurant itself was dirty. The tables were sticky, floors were slippery. One of the worst experience I've ever had. Not worth it I would never come back. For this price I would rather go to another restaurant that will cook for you or just go to an ayce.

When I came in, I was welcomed in by Joon. He was so sweet. I loved talking to him so I hope to see him again when I come back. Our food was sooooo gooood the meat here is the best I've had. It melted in our mouths, while the pork was so tasty. The side dishes they gave were amazing and went well with our food. definitely try the kimchi and salad here if you ever come here Their decorations were so pretty and the music they played made our night so fun since it made us feel like we're in a club.

Today wasn't the best experience...the portions have gotten so small...the service was very mediocre...almost like the servers don't want to be there. ... There was an issue on our bill too but luckily we caught it. They over charged us $130...how is that even possible? Sad to say, today would be my last visit to this restaurant...

The food here is amazing, the banchan they provided was really good. :) the service is great, they cooked the food for you, so you can enjoy the food without having to worry about burning it while it's on the grill. And the amount of food given for the price is definitely worth it. We will definitely be coming back here again. All the TVs had K-pop on making it a very upbeat place to eat and enjoy kbbq!

Gangnam street is a non-ayce kbbq establishment that is in a low key location across from the diamond bar golf course. The waiting room has a tv and seats and kpop music videos playing and merch to purchase. This was actually my second visit here in the last half year. The menu contains your classics for both kbbq and non kbbq korean establishments for optionality which I enjoyed. For example you can order seafood pancake, bibim nangmyeon, galbi jjim, budae jiggae, and many more and a kbbq set or a la carte. The meat quality was solid overall and banchan was delicious and they provide plenty. I wish the service was a bit better like I normally would experience from other top spots around buena park and ktown considering they are priced similarly because the food did take a while to come out and I never got refills on any banchan requested and although some other reviewers mentioned that they cook the food for you which is typical for non ayce, we did not experience this. It wasn't the biggest deal for me when I went but it can be a turnoff to others who are more experienced with higher end non ayce kbbq restaurants, but I try to be understanding. The yukke beef tartare was delicious and served with pasteurized raw egg and korean pear and greens as yukke is typically served but priced a bit too expensive compared to other spots. Unfortunately it did come out after we were more than halfway through our medium kbbq set. On my first visit I would have gave this place a 4/5, but having submitted this review after my second this week I do have to lower it to a 3.5/5. The plus side is there usually isn't too long of a wait here if any, which is enticing for another visit.

Service is horrible and really slow. Employees are not welcoming and not hospitable. They do not offer any water and they take forever to get you seated. Also, there was almost no one there and they took forever to get us seated. It is as if the employees do not care. The food here was only okay. The Chef Grilled LA Galbi lacked flavor. I definitely will not be coming back here. Save your time for a better place.
Second time here and the food is delicious. For two people the #2 is enough.. for three people, the small beef was just right. The quality of meats were excellent. Definitely will be back as it's close, not crowded and yummy.

Finally found kbbq a la carte close to home! First impression is that it reminds me of Gangnam in seoul, korea. We were greeted by a young gentlemen who gave us free hand sanitizers. Bathroom is super clean. The wait was not bad on a Friday night. Also, the price is decent. The food is spectacular. Got there small beef combo and it was enough for two! Can't complain about their quality of meat. Can't wait to come back and try this place again!
