“Lots of great Mexican restaurants around but if you want a nice sit down and chat atmosphere then this is the place in Diamond Springs. We've been here several times and we're new to the area. Never been disappointed.
Update: Usually have the chimichanga and love it, tried the super nachos and am happy to have another tasty dish on my list. Next time, bacon avocado burger.“

“This place is so wonderful. Their food is amazing, especially the baked mussels. I bring kids and their patio is perfect for a family situation. They pepper the kids with little treats and are so kind and patient with families. But they also offer a very serene setting inside. We will support this restaurant forever. “I have thyroid problems and a history of difficulty disgesting gluten. At this place, so far after a few hours, I haven't experienced any bad reactions. They fermented the flour for I think 36hrs and its imported from Italy.
I also believe they don't use bad oils or even have a freezer. Everything tasted so fresh and full of flavor. The price is pretty cheap for the quality of food. I would definitely stop by again.

“A really great little meal spot in downtown Placerville. I stopped by here on the way back from South Lake Tahoe and I’m so glad I did. I got the Italian Pasty (which was basically a calzone with flaky pie crust instead) and it was great. Lots of good pie choices and a nice if tiny dining area with cozy decor. Would stop by again!“

“This winery is one of the best! We visited for a wine tasting and the gentleman was so informative about the wines and how they are harvested, we couldn’t get enough of his knowledge! The wines, all six, that we selected on our own were excellent! We will probably join the club when we get home! Also, there is a picnic area that you can purchase a charcuterie board or cheese and crackers, spreads and dips to sit down and enjoy with your bottle of wine! It’s fantastic!“

“We had an amazing experience at Golden Dragon! The food was absolutely delicious — the Mongolian beef was excellent, the honey walnut shrimp was fabulous, and the garlic string beans (which I normally don’t even like) were a hit with everyone else. The orange chicken was great, the veggie chow fun was awesome, and the egg drop soup was to die for. Highly recommend this place — everything we tried was full of flavor and cooked perfectly!“

“my wife & I when there after dark it was little chilly outside side they ask if we like to sit outside or inside my wife said we like to sit inside after 5 minutes waiting for a table the waitress came got us set us a table that sets 6 people the only one available at that time after about 5 minutes setting the waitress though was coming over with menus or wanted to drink but she us to get back up go set back in the waiting area because she in cases alot people came in to use that table this was first time we were ever in there our friends was a great place to eat with great food so we left pissoff wrong way to run a business plus the manger heard the whole thing didn't do everything to help us out“

“This place absolutely gets a thumbs up from me. The ingredients were of great quality, the food was prepared excellently, and the staff were as friendly as could be. If you're looking for crispy crust on a pizza that isn't burnt, this is the place to go!

My one and only complaint is that the atmosphere of the restaurant was a little bit run-down. Everything was serviceable, but just looked worn out. Unlike other places I've eaten, however, I genuinely do not feel like this issue is born out of a lack of care on the Staffs' side. They seem to really care about the location, and do the best with what they've got.

They deserve your support! Worth every penny.“

“This place continues to go downhill in my opinion. We have been going there for years. But the last year we have stopped going much at all because the service is very hit and miss. A few good servers here and there. The food had also started to be not as good. We decided to try it again and for me this is probably the last time. The serving size for the price is pitiful. Especially the ridiculously small kids pizza for $12. It was burnt on the bottom besides. The garden sandwich sounded very good but was pitiful and served on a dry bun. The service was adequate but not friendly. Just disappointing again. This used to be one of my favorite places.“

“Had a wonderful opportunity to visit Gwinllan Estate and taste the wines including the sparkling wine. The owners & winemaker were very pleasant. The Blanc de Noir was absolutely dreamy and the Vermentino was so velvety on the palate. The Luminous was also such a treat. Grabbed all 3 to go after tasting. Looking forward to the Vermentino for Thanksgiving and the Blanc de Noir to celebrate hubby's bday in October. Luminous is a gift for a friend. I highly recommend this place especially if you're planning a wedding. The sparkling wine is especially perfect for such an event. “Best wine tasting experience we have had in a very long time! We were greeted by two friendly beautiful family dogs. We met Marcos the owner's son and had a very wonderful conversation. The we went to the tasting room and we were treated with a very warm friendly smile from the daughter. She did an excellent job of explaining the different flight options. We sat down and began are tasting experience. The flight's were amazing between the whites and the reds, best varieties and flavors within the flight. The daughter timed it perfect and we never had to wait for our next tasting. She did an excellent job explaining the different wines and where they came from. In between pours provided great conversation and warm smiles. We then went over to the gazebo overlooking the area and enjoyed the best fire cooked pizza! The owner came over and talked to us and introduced us to his lovely wife. We enjoyed a great conversation. The owner share his hear and vision for the winery. He asked if we were taken care of and needed anything. Over all it was such a pleasant experience at a value you can't find anywhere else. The pricing options were excellent and the varieties we're out of this world! Let's just say there is a little piece of Italy in Somerset! Perfect ambiance and beautiful hosts! “The last visit was the end of 21. We decided to try again, and am I glad we did! Friendly lady answered the phone, took my to go order. We ordered egg rolls(which were really spring rolls), pot stickers that were stuffed full and very delicious, bbq pork chow mein(noodles were more like chow fun), honey walnut prawns that were absolutely delicious, sweet and sour pork absolutely delicious, and chicken with string beans which was absolutely amazing! I am sure we have enough leftovers for a few more meals!

“I drive by this place a ton of times. Kinda forgetting that Pizza Plus is tucked inside a small shopping complex on Missouri Flat Road, south of Highway 50, in Placerville. The pizzas are pretty darn good.

The pizzas are oven baked with fresh, quality fixings. Mmm. Simple, classic pizzas done right. The staff are the best. Friendly, helpful. They have a couple of dining areas. The place is kept super clean. No frills. Comfortable. It's locally owned by the same original owner for over 30 years. That's a testament right there.“
