Health Food Restaurants near Downey, CA

“Very good place for a quick healthy bite. Obviously, one needs to choose the healthier options and stay away from the Magic Sauce (Sugar) and other options that make the meal unhealthy. I usually ask for the all white chicken, which is healthier and has more protein than the regular chicken. Flame Broiler is on my weekly fast food rotation, and I appreciate the taste and satisfactory feeling after the meal. Definitely recommend it to everyone.“

“Ernie and wife are super friendly and helpful. Cute indoor decor. Very welcoming and supportive. Most popular drink is #3 Mega green juice, for detoxification try their #1 Vampiro or #24 Green detoxifying. If something doesn't taste right they will do their best to improve your experience with them. Hope this helped.“

“We went to the Newport Beach location a couple of weeks ago. This was my first time ordering an acai bowl. The staff was very helpful and patient when I was building my bowl. Overall, from the time we walked in to the time we left, the staff was extremely friendly and nice.“

“If you had to debate between this place or any other Acai place, this wins all the way. Unlimited toppings, pick as many bases as you want all for a flat price. I asked a lot of questions about the ingredients and they were really accommodating. I liked a lot of peanut butter and I’m happy they didn’t judge.. It was my first time and it will most definitely not be my last time!!“

“Awesome healthy food! A ton of vegan options. And the price is great too. You'll meet alot of grassroots artists and cultural creatives here,as well as spiritual people. All tribes are welcome here!“

“I'm a retired chef from Louisiana but living in Nashville nowadays. I know about eating healthy and I would give this place 2 thumbs up.“

“I love this spot... thank u Antonio and your Fly Mama... great information given...“

“My FAVORITE acai place! Perfect for lunch on a hot day! So yummy, healthy, and pretty! I love that they have a low sugar acai too and both matcha and original chia pudding! Lots of great toppings! I usually pre order via app and pick up but wanted to use my free ones so ordered in store! Check out the assembly! So cool. Edna has mad knife skills! Service is always excellent! — at Acai Joint Rosemead.“

“didn't get a pic of my monroe wrap because i devoured it but it was Huge and Delicious. and it came with a pickle and a roasted pepper!! great spot if you're a vegan/vegetarian...im jealous of you if you live around this place. im not from the area and ill be thinking about this wrap for a long, long time. much love 💗“

“I stopped by Berry Brand in Cerritos and tried their customized acai bowl—it was absolutely delicious! The fruits were super fresh, and I really appreciated how friendly the workers were. The shop is nice and clean, and the prices are very reasonable. I asked for extra peanut butter and they added it at no extra cost, which was such a nice touch. They also have free parking, which makes it super convenient. Great quality food and great service—I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“100% best Bowl I have ever had! I go there often, at least probably four times a month love it so much!“

“This place was really nice. Quiet parking lot, plenty of seating inside for those looking to indulge in their beverages in house, and the staff was SUPER nice and helpful. Service was quick and the shakes come in crazy flavors. I had the 32 Oz post workout Cookies and Cream shake, and I'm super full. And I got the combo which came with a tea with B12 in it.“

“Love this park!! Best part is that it’s calm, clean, plenty to do for both kids and adults. Kids playing area is just bubbling with kids. Lots of trees and green patches. Ideal for dogs to roam around as well. Plenty of picnic tables. Has a basket ball court, baseball playground, kids training on football, soccer all the time, a kids pool and hitting zone right next.

Has 2 parking lots which were rebuilt a year ago. It’s neat and holds more than 100 cars easily. Father section of second parking lot houses a bunch of pigeons (around 100 or so). Fun watching them gather and flock around.

Have always loved hanging out here.

My only concern is that at times a section near the main shelter tends to have a few shady people occupy the space. It has been harmless for a few years now. But still felt like mentioning here for the sake of information.“

“Amazing wonderful place to be at Amazing Service“

“Great shake I would definitely recommend this place for everyone.“

“My body loves this store. Motto: If you make your body happy It will make you very happy!“

“Loaded with protein, loaded for action

25% off promo via 24 Hour Fitness Fitperks redemption

Loaded Protein Hub, cleverly located adjacent to EOS Fitness , provides protein-packed shakes, coffee, matcha, donuts, bagels, shots & bowls. They utilize Herbalife powder mixes for most of their products. Having the 25% off promo, I was looking forward to grabbing something to refresh with after recycling.

Mazapan w/ Post Workout upgrade (whey & casein blend, l-glutamine, iron, BCAA's) -
Containing a whopping 36 grams of protein, and not so bad 15 grams of sugar, the stevia - sweetened Mazapan was cool, creamy & a tad sweet to satiate the sweet tooth. A generous size, I greatly enjoyed each sip, knowing my old muscles will be powered by a protein boost.

Service was good. I asked for recommendations for more savory shakes, and wasn't steered wrong. The small store has a couch & a few tables to dine at. Wait was minimal, as I was the only customer in line, at the time. Parking is via a shared lot at the EOS Fitness plaza, with Loaded Protein Hub located between Lee's Sandwiches & Pho May.

Very good! I was quite happy with my pick being Mazapan, and look forward to coming back & trying one of Loaded Protein Hub's loaded coffee or bowls. Recommend!“

“Thank you to the gentleman that was in last Saturday. You are a rare gem, your were welcoming, friendly and best service we've had. We got the 4 bowls for 36.99 and they did not disappoint, they were all full of perfect, flavorful chicken. The place was spotless and everything was fully stocked, utensils, napkins and sauces. My kids were like we have got to leave this man a tip, and please leave a review, people have to know about this.“

“Quick post-work bite with a colleague that turned into a proper catch-up because the vibe was just so easy. Food was great, server was warm and quick, place had a lovely relaxed buzz. We stayed for hours. Bill was very fair. New default for these after-work things. Already booked again for next Friday. Brilliant.“

“I love to shop here. I Actually started buying everything here now. Biggest vegan stuff ever. And then all the herbs you could want. They even have books to have a little bit of everything here has been hours in the store. See you soon. Thank you Alan. You a big help you know the store like the back of your hand. Thank you for always helping me and my family out. We all Appreciate you so very much.“

“Every Table meal subscription is amazing. Delicious, healthy foods at a very fair price. 5 dinners only $38. The best part is my area has brick and mortar stores where I just walk in and buy my meal prep for the week...Meals cooked in a local kitchen by real chefs with local fresh ingredients. I'm busy all the time and although I love cooking it's hard to cook for just one person. The majority of meals are 600 calories or less. An easy way for me to stay in my calorie deficit. I just had the chicken schwarma bowl and it was soooo good. Tasted just like a home cooked meal. Highly recommend“

“I've been coming here for over 10years. I've never been disappointed. Highly recommend the chicken tortilla salad. Might not be the healthiest with the tortilla chips but definitely delicious with the house made cilantro lime dressing!“

“I am very happy with with my purchase. Bought one box of gold nest blue label for parents and another one for grandparents this Christmas 🎄 🎅 I don’t eat bird nest myself but the bird nests from Ten Lei Yen look so good. I’m sure my mom will love it. Also, love the box of bird nest beauty face masks that comes as gift with the purchase (keep for myself 🥰). And oh, their customer service is exceptionally great and fast shipping 👍 Jonathan helped me shipped it out as soon as possible upon request due to my last-minute purchase around the holidays. Made it on time. I really appreciate it 🙏. Definitely buy again and will recommend to friends!“

“The staff was really nice. My fiancé and I went to get a chamoy manzana preparada to fulfill my pregnancy cravings. It did hit the spot. We also got the chili Fritos which were bomb! And the raspado named like chamigloria or something like that. I’m not much a sweet tooth but my fiancé is, and he definitely devoured it“

“The Acai bowl was so amazing it's so freshing and the service was good Vanessa that works there was very helpful for my first time definitely going back 😃“
