Marisa's Restaurant
CLOSEDMarisa's Restaurant Reviews
I have been to this place several times, after my sister recommended it. Her recommendations usually aren't that great, but she scored with this one. The verduras en escabeche are great, and their salsas are very good. The fajitas are the best I have ever had, and they give you a lot for your money. Overall, the food is very good, and the service is not bad. Best of all, there is no juke box playing loud Mexican music.
I love the burritos with half red half green sauce, because it is such a great balance- sour cream etc, but my favorite has to be enchiladas suizas which are nice and spicy! Tostadas are a nice choice. Piled high and topped with a zesty salsa. Most of all we like the owner Fidel. He has a great heart for people and we love hanging out there. Coffee is good!
They now have a "B" rating. We waited 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge us. The server was nice. They have the same sticky-no-matter-what tables. They are not currently serving alcohol. The food is okay. I wish I could give a higher rating.
