Loved this place! The service was super friendly and made us feel really welcome. The food was delicious — everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The sushi rolls were big and definitely worth it. Great spot if you’re craving Japanese food. Will definitely be coming back!
I liked this place when it first opened, but I feel like quality has gone down.
I ordered a lunch set to go ($16 w/ tax) and I was surprised when it didn't come with rice. I even called to confirm and they said rice only comes with the bentos??? Why would I order chicken katsu without rice? If I went to other Japanese places for lunch sets, they normally come with rice.
Anyway, I'm disappointed. I'll go somewhere else next time...

Authentic Tendon that you would find in Japan at affordable price.
Background: Most traditional combination of ingredients for Tendon is Shrimp, Squid, Pumpkin/Sweet Potato, Seaweed, Onsen Tamago, and Green Pepper and, most importantly, side salad and dashi based sauce needs to be pre-drizzled over rice and tempura so people do not dip in sauce.
The reason why it's so hard to find a good tempura is that each ingredient needs to be prepared...
