What a GEM. One of the best restaurants that represents TRUE SOUL FOOD. I was so pleasantly surprised by the obvious care that was put into every dish I have tried. The gumbo takes you back to Louisiana with its generous portions you can’t go wrong here. I highly recommend this place.
Cherie's was recommended by a co-worker with a raving review. I immediately placed an order for pickup. I was running a bit late. Order was ready. I drove back to work. Food was still warm and delicious. I ordered fried fish, candied yams, string beans, and a side of pound cake. You must check them out. Definitely worth it! Wish they made homemade tartar sauce but that won't stop me from going again and again.
First time trying this place on 5/9/25 and I must say it’s pretty darn good. Service was great and the food was amazing. Fish was seasoned well and the sides was good although my rice was kinda clumpy. Service was fast also and I will definitely recommend coming here for some good food. I also liked the little jukebox playing the old school music.
