Pho99 Vietnamese Cuisine

35 years consuming various Vietnamese cuisine throughout the east, south Bay and San Fran peninsula, specifically my favorite two dishes, Pho and Vermicelli. Average current pricing around $15 - $25 per medium bowl without tip. Pho 99 had zero people inside during the clear weather early 5pm dinner window mid week, (the first bad sign). The atmosphere was unkept and not cleanly. $20 for the skimpy flank steak bowl of Pho, not including the $4 / 20% tip. Flavor was atrocious, broth smelled of old wet gym clothing and everything with lazily thrown together in the bowl with wet bare hands. I have made $2 Top Ramen bowls at home more on par then this atrocity. Highly recommend avoiding Pho 99 and I will never return, even after our economy is financially stabilized under Trump's administration. A filthy 1/10 rating.

FILTHY! When we went for lunch a few days ago, the kitchen, dining area, and bathroom were all filthy. I can only imagine the condition of the kitchen based on the state of the front area. The meal was hastily cooked in five minutes and lacked any flavor. There was no soap in the bathroom, and the woman offered dishwashing soap for my kids to wash their hands with, didn't have any handwashing soap at the restaurant!

Gave this place far too many chances, no more. Service is just bad, they don't care. The lady owner don't care. Soup dishes are not well prepare, especially when there aren't many diners. Noodles will be hard, almost inedible. You're almost never attended to after getting your meal. I've lost count how many times they didn't provide water.

Spend your money elsewhere. Recommend Hot Pho.

The 99 in Pho99 must be the percentage of the order they get wrong. I ordered food through uber eats for pick up and they shorted me the extra wontons and meat and I asked for egg noodles which came rice noodles. These are addons i paid extra for that I didn't get. Also, they shorted me a complete order of spring rolls (thit Nuoung). Unacceptable.

Found white hair in my food. The cooks need to be extra careful or wear proper hair nets.Will not go back to this place again.

The quality of the food has gone down significantly. Very (very) salty, the supposedly clear soup of chicken pho was now yellowish, and the bean sprouts were not prepared properly (the roots were not removed). As a regular customer, this is disappointing.

Forgotten orders twice… I went to this restaurant around March of 2023 and they brought 3 plates of hot food out. One problem though, there is 4 of us in my family, and they forgot my sisters meal. We asked the waiter where it was and he said he forgot. They brought it out 20 minutes into the rest of meal. My family decided to give this place another chance a week ago. The same thing happened again. They have terrible service and FORGET EVERYONES ORDERS!!! Don’t waste your time here.
