Not many of these left anymore.“

“We went during happy hour. We ordered on both their regular menu and happy hour menu. My wife got beef skewer bowl and I got a double burger with spicy fries. We also had a couple cocktails each. The service was excellent, other than the food coming out faster than the cocktails, but we didn't mind because the food was hot and amazingly tasty and cocktails were top notch and took time. We definitely would be coming back. The inside was cranking the AC so we enjoyed sitting outside in the back patio.“

“Kind of sad when a business faith is dictated by reviews dating years and years ago. Kind of like herpes, if I may, they never seem to disappear, specially when said reviews are detrimental and no longer apply to the present.
Finally I went to this poorly rated establishment for their Taco Tuesday Special at $1.25 each.
I should add that previously someone brought to our place the Monday Special, Burger night, which at this day and age must admit was unbeatable and rather tasty. The kind of special that defies all odds. Also, previously as well had their Wednesday Chicken Wings Special. That one, sadly, a fiasco. Super dry wings, devoid of all appeal, but for the money the quantity was decent.
Anywho, Tackle Box simply rocks, and from the looks it distinguished itself as a truly unique scene. Staff reeked of good manners and friendly demeanor, which I must confess, truly appreciate. The shower singer in me wanted to get up on their stage and make a fool out of myself. The square footage truly mind altering, and the one question nagging me was: why the few and not so good comments? The bar alone is quite a sight!
Tacos: small but loaded, easy to devour but please no less than 6, or will wish it had been. Salsa, meats, sauce, not shabby at all. Staff, as happily mentioned, nice as can be. Restroom particularly clean and originally decorated. Heard Happy Hour beers run for $4 a piece? If so, it would take quite a few to tune ? up.
I thank the good man that drove us there. Karaoke Night Sundays? Buzzed enough I see no reason why I would not make a fool out of myself, God knows over the years I repeatedly have in good fun. It is just a liquor store parking lot, but what food truck has nice atmosphere? None I have ever been to.Great food with reasonable prices.I like everything I have tried, which is most of the menu. My go-to is the chicken wrap. The gyro quesadilla is really good, too. It is listed as an appetizer, but it is a large and filling quesadilla.The burgers are also very good, but they have a Mediterranean flavor, so don't expect the typical taste of your standard American burger.The chicken sandwich is dark meat, which I prefer, but I think it is worth noting so people do not expect the standard white meat chicken patty.As far as I can tell, there is only one person who works there(the owner), and he makes everything fresh to order, so I recommend calling your order in ahead of time. It will take 15-20 minutes(or more if you order a lot and/or they are really busy) to be ready. I see this as a plus. Most food trucks have everything premade and simply assemble ingredients instead of making it for you when ordered. I have watched him meticulously plating food with great care. It is clear he takes a lot pride in his cuisine and cares for the customer's satisfaction immensely.The owner is always very polite and friendly and has a very warm and welcoming smile.Solid Five Star food truck, and some of the best food I have had in Chico.I have recommended it to every one I work with. The recent expansion was done in a phenomenal way to provide two different dining experiences whereas the new “”lounge with about 10 doubles is really nice for an intimate dining experience. As for the food, OMG! Flavors you recognize but don’t typically prepare, awesome sushi and sashimi. I am partial to simple dishes like a Gilroy roll, California roll and the like. These were on the menu deep fried and again, OMG! The staff was awesome, and management has adapted to a much larger capacity with minimal, if any, disruption in service. I had never been here before and hadn't heard anything about it, but I was honestly blown away that was the case after giving Grana a try. Service was amazing, they have a nice outdoor area, and the food was great. One thing in particular that I noticed here that isn't always the case at a restaurant is that they did not rush you out. We stayed for 2 hours, enjoyed our food and wine, and the waiter genuinely only came around to provide service. I would definitely recommend coming here and will certainly be coming back.“
