We had a fantastic meal here during a weekend snow trip this winter. The portions are huge and the food was fantastic. Warning: if you order a full slab of ribs, be prepared for it to almost tip your table over! It's a massive portion! You should also get a reservation. We have been going to the Monte Vista for nearly 40 years now, and we have always had a wonderful experience. But tonight was exceptional. My husband and I made a reservation for our 10th wedding anniversary and everybody there made it extra special. Out server Holland was extremely welcoming and helped us find some great vegetarian dishes, while Sharon made our cocktail selections a delight. My husband and I finally got to take a break from renovations in EG to come down for dinner! I called for a reservation earlier in the day. We got there a little early and had an adult beverage by the well stoked fireplace, just lovely! We were so impressed with everything! Being past restaurant owners, we can be really critical but man, this place was great! The kind staff, atmosphere & the food were amazing! We can't wait to go back! Can't recommend enough!!
