On Saturday I had a pulled pork sandwich. It was great, and the mashed potatoes were delicious. Congratulations! Very tasty.

Sweet people, the food portion sizes for the fries isnt bad, but my god there is little flavor. I assume maybe they had a bad day considering how good the reviews are but truly it tasted as if the only seasoning on the meat came from the BBQ sauce. Had to season the food at home unfortunately. Hoping this was just a bad day for the cooks.

Had a delicious pitmaster cater to my house with delicious sides. Cobbler and side of ribs off the chain. The best can't go wrong.

Very good barbecue here! I had their namesake sandwich with a side of loaded mash and it did not disappoint. The brisket was tender and well seasoned, the pulled pork was flavorful,

Definitely more of a take out place than dine-in. We sat at a curbside table because it was uncomfortably warm inside. The space is simply small with an open kitchen. Street
side table was fine for lunch with friends but may be uncomfortable in summer heat.

I have taken risks when exploring new restaurants, but this was beyond comprehension. This was, without a doubt, the dirtiest and most disorganized restaurant I have ever encountered. It’s hard to understand how anyone could eat here and call it the best place for BBQ.

The state of cleanliness was appalling. The bathroom was filthy, and according to the last recorded cleaning date, it hadn’t been cleaned since 1/16/24. The entire restaurant looked neglected—trash and bottles were scattered on various counters, a cluttered and dirty desk sat in full view, and the back entrance resembled an abandoned car shop, complete with piles of garbage and even an old, black truck.

The first thing guests see when arriving? Overflowing trash cans right at the entrance. The level of disorganization was shocking, making for an uncomfortable and unsanitary dining experience.

I would not recommend this place to anyone, and I sincerely hope the owners take immediate action to clean up and restore basic hygiene standards. Until then, I would steer clear.

So this is a mom and pop type of place. Hold in the wall. The ribs is the only reason why this is getting a 3. My sides weren’t homemade to me and lacked in taste and seasoning. The hot links were huge and they weren’t what I was use to. They tasted different they links I’m used to for bbq. The price was a bit high but it’s understandable.

Ordered pulled pork sandwich and a quarter chicken.The sandwich was greasy in my opinion too much bbq sauce but the meat portion was ok.The bbq chicken quarter was ok.I have yet to try the rest of their menu.A little too expensive in my opinion but you be the judge.

Parking: Its a busy area i did not see a parking lot.So street parking is your only option.

As soon as you're a few feet from the front of the location, you can already smell the the delicious food you're about to eat. I'm picky and I got the Brisket Loaded Fries. Picky Eater Certified ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I would absolutely recommend this for a family day out, friends gathering, even by yourself! This place is just too good. My family ate up everything we got and were mind blown. And their prices??? Not crazy high like other places that give you food that's not worth the amount. This place gives you 100/10 food with very good prices. Will be back again! Also there is some parking in the front (street parking) and seating outside & inside. And EVERYONE who works here is nice, polite, and will answer your questions. Thank you all for being welcoming ?

My daughter found this spot. We ordered Brisket loaded fries, pulled pork, brisket, chicken, pork rib, and a hot link!! All was superb!! Give it 10 stars ?. Oh yeah, rib tips as well. Highly recommend Meme's Texas BBQ Smokehouse!! In East L.A.
