Overhyped. Limited options, no sugar free options and it’s not kid friendly.

Mexes Cafe is a cute, quaint and dainty spot that really eminates with the essence of la familia y tradicion. I appreciate the vibe because it really reminds me of home. The art and the ambience really call to me and I have to give it a high recommendation without even talking about the drinks and food yet. On that note, I had pupusas and two lattes, one of which was a mazapan latte and the other was the horchata latte. I loved the fact that you could choose your own design on the latte. The mazapan latte, literally had such a nostalgic feel because it tastes exactly like the de la rosa candy. As for the horchata latte, you can never go wrong with that. It was very sweet, with that coffee undertone to make a great balance. I genuinely recommend visiting this spot because if you are in the mood for good vibes and good times!

Wonderful place. Great food and amazing art lattes that taste just as good as the art is stunning. Love love this place and will definitely come again. Highly recommend!! Tyler the Creator art lattes for the win.

I got the strawberry matcha latte(ice) and it was perfect. The place is cute kinda makes you feel you are in Mexico. However, that they the women that helped appeared to be irritated. When I asked what type of pastries were available she said she did not know because she hadn’t works the night before. I stayed quiet for a few seconds, hoping she would go check but did not. When I asked her if she could go check she said she would have to go through all of the containers. At that point I did not want to waste my time so I just got the drinks. Btw I was the only customer there and it did take her sometime to make my order. As I left other ppl did walk in. Great! Drink not so much on customers service, though. Yes, I would go again because my drink was delicious.

Great spot for young couples or senior couples in a completely relaxed setting. Plenty of choices as far as food and treats, some desserts too.

Came here because they used to be a tamales place not sure if it’s the same owners or not but my gf wanted to check it out because of the latte art prints and whatever my gf wants she gets so we went in and it was a good while to get our order in and once we did took about 15-20mins to get our order and it wasn’t that busy I believe it’s a family that runs it so they were I guess understaffed but there’s still always room to form a better system to take orders and get them out efficiently in my opinion after working years in the service industry in the past. Moving on to the coffee itself latte print was good but the coffee was not the best couldn’t really taste any of the espresso kinda just had a burnt, bitter, and watered down taste as if the previous grounds were just reused. I get it the selling point is the latte print but with coffee this bad the print itself doesn’t justify the price. There are better coffee shops within a mile or 2 radius of this place such as Vida Pura and Acurrúcame but if you don’t mind spending top dollar for a latte print and some low quality coffee then this is the place for you.

The girl at the front was very rude and unwelcoming. I went looking forward to getting a latte with print but the flavor itself was terrible and so was the drawing. It was melting towards one side and she still gave it to me like that.. not worth the $10 she charged

Cold brew was great but the service was very poor. Only one person was working which I can understand but I didn't feel welcomed. There was no other patrons in the establishment. The menu was limited. Bunch of choices were crossed out. This place is overhyped.
I ordered a cinnamon roll latte and it was good.
I ordered a coffee cake that was $5, but it's so nasty. I would say that the coffee cake has been there for weeks. Don't recommend getting any pastries. They aren't fresh

I drove an hour to try this coffee shop, and it was worth the drive. It is a very cozy place. I ordered the Lavender Latte and a Bean and cheese pupusa it was soooo good. They had an option to add an image onto your drink, and I did just that. I will definitely be returning here. Go check this place out!!
