So the food was good I’m not going to say anything about the chef since he is the one who is just cooking. My problem is the OLD lady in the front. She’s rude and slow and doesn’t pay attention to what you’re asking. i asked her what was inside the burrito and she failed to mention all the ingredients which made us both not like the burrito since we don’t like onions or tomatoes in our stuff. Me and my boyfriend were excited to try this place for the first time only for her to mess up our order and treat us with an unwelcoming atmosphere. She was too busy distracted just staring into lalala land when my bf and i were trying to order. Then she keeps staring at us when we’re trying just to chill in the dine… I’m sorry as an interracial couple that’s weird why do you have to keep looking at us with a judgemental look? It was totally unprofessional and sad we spent our hard earn money just to feel unwelcomed. She was old with bright pink lipstick.

Went on a Thursday, ordered carne asada tacos. The meat was not good at all. It was hard to eat, was chewy and had a lot of fat pieces.

I got confused today because I thought it was taco Tuesday. Lol. But this place always have specials for Tuesdays and Thursdays. This place is on Figueroa, near S. Pasadena. I like this location Taco Ensenada but the only downside is that they don't have any bathroom. The customer said he goes next door to El Pollo, they give you a coin to use for the bathroom. So it wasn't Fish Taco Tuesday!! And Thursdays, they have Asada, Carnitas, Pollo or AL Pastor 2 x 1 deals which is worth it. So today, we got one fish Taco and 3 asada tacos. And the peppers, onions and limes are all you can eat/take. Love their yellow peppers. The other location had the green jalapeños. And we got the horchata. All were tasty and delicious. Service was great, too.

I've gone to the El Monte store, where I learned about $1 Taco Tue. I saw this one closer to home & checked their website (pictured). We went early to beat the rush, only to be told that they don't have $1 fish tacos. Rather, it's 2 fish tacos for $3.24 (regular price for 1 fish taco). I referred to the website, but the cashier only shook her head. Perhaps it's because we're not Hispanic-looking & she thought we could afford more. I was disappointed and the food was pretty tasteless after that. I had a sinking feeling that we had been ripped off. Won't be coming here anymore. I suggest you don't either. There's a king taco further down the street (3rd St). Their asada & al pastor tacos are BOMB! I've never felt ripped off at King Taco, like I felt here. CAUTION: just avoid this place! DO NOT COME HERE!

The older lady at the counter was inappropriately rude & unhelpful. She did not offer condiments & said there was no salsa. I had to ask another person for salsa & extras which they had. I’ve been to other locations & always received great service! Lady, If you don’t like your job you shouldn’t be at the front counter. It leaves a bad impression for Tacos Ensenada.
Food is great but to many signs with rules, refills 16oz $1.36 22oz $1.58, please do not steal the salsas, etc! They charge 3% if you use a debit card, arent they well enough as a chain restaurant to be ripping off customers??? Clerk didnt even say hello after i said

Great Fish Tacos!!! This place has Fish Tacos for $1.50 today. Soooo good and they are ready quickly since they expect the customers to buy them

Came here to try their Fish Taco Tuesday for the first time. $1.50 per fish taco is a great deal, especially if they are good. I ordered 5 fish tacos and an order of carne asada fries. Everything came out to just over $22. They are served with shredded cabbage, pico de gallo and some tasty crema. Do be warned that they put some sort of hot sauce on the fish. Not sure what was on the carne asada fries, but they were good and very filling. The fish tacos were yum as well.All in all everything was good and I would come again.
