Amigos Birria Tacos East LA

I placed an order by mistake and contacted the restaurant within 3 minutes to cancel. The staff initially agreed to cancel, but then marked the order as “completed” anyway, which prevented DoorDash from issuing a refund.

When I followed up, the restaurant refused to assist and redirected me back to DoorDash. Because the vendor falsely marked the order as completed, DoorDash declined to help, leaving me with no resolution other than disputing the charge with my bank.

This is extremely frustrating and appears to be an unethical practice by the restaurant, as it blocks legitimate cancellations and shifts the burden entirely onto the customer.

The taco, Guacamole and green sauce were really delicious. Some of the best I've had, and I dont say that often. I have been to a lot of Mexican spots. The rice could use a little more flavor just my personal opinion

Was skeptical when we walked in. We tried the Quesabirria tacos, Breakfast Burrito and the Birria Ramen. Very impressed 👏 the flavor and texture was on point. Ill definitely drive out here from Pomona just to eat at this place 💯

It was our first time in the area, but we’ll be back for sure. We tried the birria pizza at Amigo Birriatacos and wow. Perfectly crispy tortilla, loaded with tender birria and melted cheese, and the consomé was rich and savory. The flavors were spot-on and the portion was generous. Thanks Ana for her great service and for explaining everything — made the experience even better. 10/10, coming back for more.

Visiting from out of town and found this place. The food was amazing! I will definitely be back for sure. The owner was very helpful with explaining everything to us. It’s a must try!

Very good service here at this nice location! Food was delicious and the aguas frescas were very well made! Not too sweet just perfect to feel refreshed! Their hot sauce is bomb but a bit spicy which I like so much!

The quesadilla de birria was really good, and I added guacamole to enhance the flavor. The customer service was exceptional; she was very friendly and servicial. I would def recommend trying this place!

Superb authentic street styled Cali Birria.

If you have seen Birria online it’s usually this, and the flavor doesn’t disappoint.

Excellent flavor profile, friendly kind staff.

Soooooo tasty! We’ve gone in person a few times and the birria never disappoints. I just ordered it on Uber Eats (I was a bit skeptical because the food is never the same when ordered online) let me tell you it was AMAZING! My mouth is still watering as I’m writing this post. 10/10 birria tacos in LA! The flavor is amazing and the salsa has the right hint of spice. Definitely give this place a try!

Tried the taco plate. Food is great, tacos are juicy, the birria is cooked just right. Probably the best i’ve had in a long time. Red sauce hits just the right level of spicy I desired. However, rice can be bit better, a bit dry in my opinion. Beans are soft and savory.

Outside dining is great, very clean and lots of green. Shade is no problem to find as each table has their own umbrella.
