WHO is the management? They Only had chicken and meatloaf couldn’t make a sandwhich. The place is highkey sketchy. This location needs to be shut down, if they aint making no money to serve. Seats are ripped tiles are gone on the floor this place has been unkept for sometime so sad.

Horrible experience that borders on Twilight Zone. I called this location first and was told they were open and serving a limited menu as they were out of "several items" but they did have chicken. I was 8 mins away & noticed as I approached the drive thru that the lighting was low but there were a few people inside.Car ahead of me in drive through was waiting a while but I was hemmed in. I waited at the drive thru for over 10 mins & although the single employee only was standing 25 feet away with a headset on, she never responded to take my order. I pulled to the front entrance and saw the car behind me angrily take off after waiting as well.It was worse inside. The cashier chatted idly with people ahead of me trying to get Information out of her as to what menu items were available as most were marked as unavailable on upper menu board. They asked if the drive-up speaker was broken and the sole employee told them that she could hear them but didn't answer us because she was handling the register alone. I would think the very least that could have been done was to put drive thru CLOSED signs at speaker and window so people like me wouldn't waste our time. They also were complaining that the soda machine was not workingand were trying to get a refund. I waited another 10 mins to be told while I started to pay by debit, that it would take an unknown amt of time to get my food as the cashier would have to go back and cook chicken to bring out as a co-worker had "walked out" earlier and she was "all alone" having to handle everything. I left, hoping my debit didn't go through with no assurances. Place was dark and dirty inside and outside with missing tables and chairs, etc. It's too bad that Bostons are/have closed in San Diego -they had such good food. Looks like no corporate support is given and I'm sure that Covid and employee shortages have had a major impact on this chain. I arrived home tired, frustrated and hungry with no dinner to show for the hour I had wasted there.

The owner is a nice person and it's not fair that they have to deal with the incompetence of Boston Market, Inc. They need better employees. I had to make three phone calls in an hour to find out when I could pick up the food. I was polite. The employee seemed like she thought I was hassling her. The phone rang 20 times before someone else picked up the final call. Franchises are expensive and there are people who need jobs who would care about their work.

This place is looking very rough outside .let me say no ac the chairs are ripped the bathroom is disgusting the drive tru wasnt working . It seems if all of this things are falling apart in our eyes what about does we cant see . The workers are friendly but i asked them how they keep food safe at 95 what seem inside when outside was 80ish . They looked at each other to be honest workers looked sweaty not like fast passed sweat like its hot no ac. I tried the food but will not be coming back and support a buisness who is lacking ac for their workers . Owners reading this your landscape needs help too a dead rat outside when i came outside im not saying dont just help get this workers and customers a dam ac and a clean bathroom. Thanks food was ok

Went in for a chicken sandwich, but sign/menu had that and many other things crossed off as not available. Meatloaf wasn't crossed off so I ordered that. Nope, they were out of meatloaf. Ooookay, so I settled on turkey, mashed potatoes & gravy, and creamed spinach. Oh wait, the creamed spinach is a PREMIUM item they charge $0.80 more for. Ooookay. So that individual turkey meal with small drink was over $18.00 (!!!!)The way I would describe the food is that a frozen Hungry Man dinner would have been better and obviously cheaper. The lack of menu items, the drive thru closed, and the lack of quality of the food made me think this place is just selling out what's left of its inventory and going to be closing its doors very soon.

Extremely run down. I mean everything looked dirty or broken. I was so hesitant but ordered anyway because past experience (well over 10 years ago) and plenty of hole in the wall places have given me excellent meals.10/10 would not recommend!!! I didn't eat all my food. The meatloaf look, texture and taste was a complete turn off. My rice and chicken noodles soup were not horrible. I still didn't finish. I kept thinking about food poisoning. If what you can actually see is trash and dirty then imagine what you don't see with food prep, storage, etc. Good notes: The employee was super respectful! I left a generous tip because the young man used ma'am, sir, asked how customers were doing, didn't rush anyone to order and called a customer to apologize for being out of their order and ask what he could replace it with... I truly felt that was above and beyond. Some people will just substitute with whatever they have ready. FIVE STARS FOR HIS CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I didn't get his name smh but I was there tonight just around 5:30... so hopefully the manager sees and recognizes the young man.

I am not one to write reviews. I have worked in the restaurant and hospitality industry and have compassion for an off day. That said, I have been a fan of Boston Market for over 15 years. The food has always been good, a healthy option, and well served.I have visited the El Cajon store for the past few years. Even through Covid, their food and service were consistently amazing. Move forward to the last year. I have been consistently disappointed. But I had loved the food so much in the past I occasionally returned. Even though they closed their drive-through, I went inside to place my order. My chicken was burnt. I had ordered double mashed potatoes which were watery and was only given one container of gravy. Sadly, I will not return.

Probably one of the worst dinning experiences ever. Avoid this B rated location at all costs.Let's start with the food. We'll they barely have any. Rotisserie chicken only and a few sides. According to the employees it's been that way for a while due to supply issues.1 cup of diced rotisserie chicken what they call nuggets but it's really just diced rotisserie chicken Mac and cheese with mashed potatoes in 1/2 cup portions with water (because out of most drinks also) was over $16.Next let's go to service. 2 employees to do everything from cashier to cook to server to cleaning. Watching them Bruce from cleaning to serving back and forth is kinda gross. I don't blame the employees they Re given ridiculous conditions to work with and did their best to make customers welcomed while trying g to put on a happy face working in such a place that should be closed down.Atmosphere is next:Locked bathrooms with barely functioning low watt bulbs that put out so little light it feels like a morgue. The menu is half covered due to lack of options.Half the food stations are now just storage. The few seats available are broken and there is a massive whole in the floor that is poorly hidden by a party table and dollar store table clothes. The broken outdoor lighting tells you to avoid this place.Hopefully corporate will help the 2 workers get better spots and demolish this location especially since all they offer is over priced chicken in the same parking lot as KFC.All in all the mashed potatoes were delicious but nothing else positive can be said about this place. Even the poorly light parking lot made you feel unsafe. Most people entering just left moments later.

Ok first off upon entering the smell is disgusting It smells like sewage. Then we order our food it comes to 29.15 for one meal 3 small ribs and a quarter piece of chicken and two small sides. Portions are very very smallHonestly if your charging this much for food literally 30 bucks make it worth the money! Then we get a drink me and my husband are sharing this meal because it's way to expensive We get our drink cup and literally have only a couple options of soda No coke No sprite No sweet teaNo lemonade I mean they are out of more things than they have at this point And please re train your front counter people they are like talking to a sloth they have no personality and no smiles Then we go to sit down and the booth and I mean literally the one and only booth in the building has rips all in it Y'all charging these prices but this restaurant is a mess the place is in shambles and your out of lots of products Sad situation I remember when y'all used to be good and the food was excellent! The food today wasn't bad I will say we did eat the food but the rest of the situation was disgraceful

The food looked old and gross. They were literally sold out of everything but bone in chicken. Workers seemed very unhappy. Not a good vibe.

Kind of annoyed. Ordered curb side on 12/24. Went to pick it up around 445/5 pm and they were closed due to an unexpected maintenance issue. Things happen, I get it. BUT, they’ve failed to call me back (after calling multiple times) and corporate never called me back.We are now in February and no one wants to refund me the $45 I spent.

Okay, was a little put off when going inside this place for takeout - It's in shambles with tiles off the floor, stacks of boxes lining the wall and tables & chairs missing. The staff wasn't overly friendly, but my wife convinced me, their food was always so good when we had one in our location so I gave it a go.Some of the things we wanted to order, they were out of that day; but the food we did get, did not disappoint. My wife got the 1/2 chicken with mashed potatoes. Gotta say, this was some of the best tasting chicken, full of flavor. Good potatoes and gravy too.I got the Tuscan chicken with mashed and I liked mine too.Good cornbread.

01/11/23- Was craving their chicken.. i was hopeful because they had new items on their menu from when I had it from years ago. I used to work at a boston market ages ago and always loved their chicken and meatloaf.. I ordered their 3 pc chicken and crispy chicken meal. The chicken wasn't as flavorful anymore and the crispy chicken was not crispy since they added the sauce even when we asked to have it on the side. Also the dining area is not maintained and has become storage with boxes every where. I also had to watch the employee pack my food and they almost forgot an item i paid for. Lastly, i ordered curbside but no one picked up the phone for a while so I ended up walking in. Very disappointed.
