I reached out to Sierra a few weeks before my bridal shower to create a Lover inspired cake a la Taylor Swift. There was minimal communication as I sent her the inspo photos and date/time event, and she took it away from there! The cake turned out so good, no one wanted to eat it because it was so beautiful! Eventually, we did dig into it and it was so good! I definitely recommend Sierra and her services - everything was A+ and I will be reaching out for future needs.

We had a 8” birthday cake and a smash cake made by Sierra for our daughter’s first birthday. It was absolutely phenomenal!! To say I was impressed was an understatement. The cake was not only beautiful and matched exactly to the inspiration photos I sent, but was also the most moist delicious cake I’ve ever tasted! I got so many compliments by all of my guests and they all loved the way it looked and tasted. We were absolutely thrilled and would 100% return to Sierra for our next custom cake!

We were visiting family in San Diego for the holidays and to celebrate my son’s first birthday. I had purchased a few cake toppers, but needed a sea themed cake for the party. We ordered with Cake by Sierra and we were blown away by the cake, cupcakes, and customer service. The cake was not only beautiful, but tasted delicious. My son loved his birthday cupcake as well. I cannot recommend this place enough! Overall, a great experience.

If the review was purely on looks and customer service I would give 5 stars. If it was on taste and quality of cake sadly I would give less... so overall I'll give it a 4. At first the cake was dense after sitting out for an hour and the custard or filling was not spread evenly so when we took a slice it fell apart. The filling was more towards the center. I allowed the cake to sit out for another hour( 2 hours total) and tried the cake again and it was dry at that point. It is very disappointing because the cake was beautiful. I received so many compliments on Instagram on the cake and was asked where I got it so I referred everyone here in hopes that maybe mine was a dud. I would give her another chance because her work is truly great just the cake itself was a let down. I had a little more than half the cake left over but threw it away even thought we spent a pretty penny on it. I think the cake had good flavor but was distracted with the dryness of it...To end on a positive note Sierra seemed very nice and responded to emails in a timely manner. The cake looked exactly as I wanted it and I was very please with her talent in decorating the cake. Another positive is my 3 year loved the look of the cake as well

Sierra made my gender reveal cake and absolutely killed it! I couldn’t have asked for a better cake ? The turn around time was relatively fast for how soon I asked for it, I’m so appreciative it. Not only does it look aesthetically pleasing, but it tasted so good!

Sierra made my nieces birthday cake. We chose birthday sprinkle and it was delicious! The frosting was sweet but not too sweet and her decorating skills are amazing. Sierra was easy to communicate and coordinate with. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a custom cake!

I ordered a cake for my parent's 40th anniversary and was happy to contribute her decorating ideas and to give me a few different quotes for different size cakes. By far the best wedding cake I've ever tasted and not saying it because it was mine. My favorite was the Strawberry. I was sad when I didn't have any left ?. I went in blind. We didn't meet, it was all done over email and example screenshots of cakes I liked. It came out above and beyond what I expected and would highly recommend her cakes!!!
