Let me start off by saying that Porfavor El cajon is an amazing authentic mexican American restaurant. we walk in and we are immediately greeted by amazing friendly staff who ask you if you want to sit in their amazing patio with flowers and cacti and water fountains around you, or if you prefer to sit indoors in the very beautiful mexican town interior. the food is priced well and the portions are hugely i got a steak fajitas and it was enough for two. great value for what your...
Service in the beginning was great. However, there was no offer for drink refills or to check on the meal. I had to walk from the outer patio to request the check. It wasn't busy.
The food was alright. I would have liked spicier salsa. I wasn't too impressed, and the prices were a bit high for the food quality and service offered.

Beautiful restaurant on Main Street in El Cajon. We had 2 beef tacos and a carnitas quesadilla off their happy hour menu and they were delicious. \n\nThe carnitas quesadilla was full of carnitas and not greasy like at some Mexican restaurants.\n\nTacos were shredded beef.\n\nService was great! Sat in the courtyard on a beautiful Sunday afternoon.
