1st time visiting for dinner. Had a great experience with fast friendly service, and the food was cooked wonderfully and served properly. Our waitress kept checking back to make sure all was ok. We couldn't ask for better. The portions were nicely sized and very tasty.

I want to take a moment to recognize the incredible experience we had at Texas Roadhouse, thanks to Terry Ann and Bryce. From the very start, Terry Ann greeted us with such genuine kindness and warmth that it immediately set the tone for the evening. She didn’t just welcome us in; she made us feel like family. What really stood out was how personable she was. She even chatted with me about zodiac signs, and to my surprise, she was so on point that it added a really fun, personal touch to our visit. It’s rare to meet someone who brings both friendliness and such an authentic sense of connection, and Terry Ann did exactly that.
Bryce, our server, was equally impressive. His service was top-notch. He was attentive without being intrusive, quick without feeling rushed, and always making sure that we had everything we needed. He anticipated little details before we even had to ask, and that level of care really made a difference in our dining experience. You could tell he takes pride in his work and genuinely wants his guests to have a great time.
Together, Terry Ann and Bryce went above and beyond to turn what could have been just another dinner out into something truly memorable. Texas Roadhouse is lucky to have such dedicated, kind, and professional people on their team. I left not only with a full stomach but also with a smile, thanks to the hospitality and great energy they brought to the table.

I have gone to this specific Texas Roadhouse at least 10 times in the past few years. The steak is never cooked how I order it. It is always undercooked I accepted it for what it was and instead of getting medium rare I got medium this time thinking they would undercook it to medium rare. Well they had a little trick up their sleeve because this time they overcooked it to well done. That’s literally all you guys do all day long is cook steaks and somehow you can’t manage to get it right. You are open for business 62 hours out of the week and not a single hour is a steak cooked to anyone’s liking.

I was looking forward to coming here after a visit to the Sun City, AZ location a couple of months ago. The steak I had there was definitely one of the best steaks I have had in years and I was looking forward to a similar experience here in El Cajon, CA. Unfortunately it was the opposite.
Service was great for our party of 5 + 1 child. 4 adults ordered 14 oz steaks either medium rare or medium. 3 of which came out well done. I ordered a 16 oz med rare hoping that a larger steak would definitely be cooked the way I liked with mushrooms. Unfortunately it was served well done and not edible, the mushrooms were old and black, also not edible. Our server promptly got me a replacement which was only a 14 oz (not 16 oz) and it came out pretty raw. I ended up taking it home and made steak sandwiches the next day and they were very good.
Very disappointed with the food, but service was good. 🤷♀️

Friendly atmosphere, great service, even though they served my cheeseburger with carneled onions which I dont like I had to give them a five star because the burger was cooked rigged and the amazing service I had and it was my birthday which they didn't know about

Excellent location. Terrific food. Wonderful staff. Very pleasant folks that are willing to let us split our meals since we’re older. Atmosphere is a little bit loud for me, but that’s just because I wear hearing aids and pick up a lot of noise around me. Not their fault everybody’s happy to be there and everybody’s loud about it.
