THE BURRITO CITY - San Diego

I'm an old guy so spending nearly $20. for lunch still gets to me, but I'll gladly come back here and do it again & again. The Surf & Turf burrito is excellent, AND BIG. The chips & salsa are just right and the Coke from the fountain drink machine is not watered down like some places. I will try to schedule my jobs in El Cajon around lunch time.

We love this place, the food is delicious or go to the car of the fries and roll tacos however, tonight I felt like I wanted to have a ceviche tostada (more like tomato ceviche) unfortunately it’s not I was hoping. I will have to remember not to order that here.

This was a great bean and cheese burrito. Eans were creamy, so was the cheese. Tortilla was perfect mix of chewy and crispy, while holding in the contents of the burrito. To me, a 5 star bean and cheese burrito needs nothing to make it stellar. This was almost there, matter of fact, I wish I could've given it 4 1/2 stars. It was really good, but needed a little bit of salsa to push the flavor to the top. Portion was ok for $8.50 but not huge. Salsas are self serve with about 7 choices. Very quick service. Unreasonably beautiful cashier for a taco shop. Sorry ladies, I'm just a guy.

U walk in and the girls in the front greet u so nicely... I had called ahead for my order... once I got there it was ready to go.. I was undecided on the rolled takos and they made me one of each... they were delicious....all 3 of them ( beef chicken and potato...
I also ordered a Mini tako and that was not mini... it was huge... Definitely coming back.

The place is very clean and has the option for sit down, employees will bring the food to your table.

I ordered the Baja Burrito and the classic breakfast burrito. They serve costumers free house-made chips and a selection of salsa.
The Baja burrito was better than I expected, the fish was crunchy and flavorful. I gave this place 4 stars for “food” because the breakfast burrito wasn’t it, it was decent but it lacked flavor.
Will come back and try the rest of the menu items !

Took a chance on this spot and super glad we did. The store was very clean and the service was prompt and every thing was fresh. The CA burrito was a good size not greasy at all and the meat was delicious. The rolled tacos were fresh, not greasy, and FILLED with beef. The shrimp taco was delicious but a little too much chipotle sauce. CA fries were fresh and also not greasy. Salsa was ok. In the future, I'd combine the orange with the red. Affordable and very good. Will definitely be back.

My new favorite breakfast burrito place! Clean burrito meaning it is not greasy, yet tasty, well wrapped, well toasted. Friendly and warm people, clean and nice atmosphere and very close to me!! 10/10😊

I WAS a weekly customer here until they messed up my burrito. I called it to tell them about the error they made. Lady who answered the phone hung up on me. I called back. She gave the phone to one of the cooks. They were both having a hard time understanding the issue I was having. All I needed was a side avocado which they forgot to put in my burrito. The cook told me “let me speak to my manager” and just hangs up on me. I call back and they wont answer my calls. This was infuriating. All they had to was say sorry and to come and they’ll see what they can do to fix it. No paying customer should be treated like that. I had to leave work just to go back to this place and get a small cup of avocado. However I don’t trust the integrity of this place and threw the avocado in the trash along with my support for this store.

My new favorite place for Mexican food..I usually get take out. The staff is always smiling and attentive..They offer chips while you are waiting. Food is the best!

This place is worth a stop! The food is very good and very fresh.
I've been here many times and have always enjoyed everything I've tried on the menu. They are always very quick with their service as well.
