This place used to be 5-Star when I started going there. It was a mom and pop restaurant but it is now ran by the kids it seems. The care taken with the food is going downhill. Prices keep going up. $5 medium horchata is ridiculous unless it’s home made but it’s the machine stuff. Ordered a jamon torta and it was $15! I walked out paying $25 for one sandwich and two drinks. This isn’t dine in Little Italy it’s an El Cajon Taco shop!

Very impressed with this place! Great salsa bar with a ton of selections, carna asada burrito was hot and the steak was tender! Even the chips were hot and seasoned! Nice guy working the front and kept the restaurant clean. Will definitely be back!

I am giving this spot a 3 star review because after taking my son there yesterday and ordering the #3 combination plate & the birra quesadilla I had to check the reviews. When I ordered the birria quesadilla I did not receive any birria 🤣 my son and I didn't eat the quesadilla, we ate the enchiladas and left for ice cream. I should've gotten my money back for that ridiculousness.
