Usual customer and sort of disappointed after a recent encounter. I went in to redeem a reward scoop and they were opening a new batch of chocolate ice cream. Perhaps the new ice cream was a bit too tough, but the associate scooped a shaving of ice cream that was rolled up and I could see through it.
I noted this was a pretty small serving and nothingā¦
I understand opening a new tin of ice cream might be hard to serve. If that is the case, then just say so and Iāll pick something else.

I called the number and a lady with a gentil voice answered. I asked if they had this particular ice cream pre packed, lady said yes, so I started heading out to drive 30 minutes to the location. Minutes later I called again, same lady with perfect English voice answered, i told her I was cutting it close to closing time. Lady said they will still let me in. When we got there, that particular flavor which I drove 30 minutes for was not available in the pre packed fridge, I asked them if they had put it away It took 3 employees to say, āno, but we could pack you oneā I asked ā to pre packed price? Which I was buying 2 x $14. One of the employees taking trash out said āyes. So we proceeded to grab the second item while they were packing the second flavor. They charged me fresh packed price.. I said, No, you said youāll respect the pre packed price. I said, you told me you had it pre packed, then said youāll pack me one for same price, but now you saying no???? They spoke their native language between them, then grabbed the cellphone to call āthe ownerā and claimed the owner said ānoā. So they continue to charge me the more price. They said they couldnāt honor what they originally said. They rather lose a costumer than honor their word, or maybe they donāt comprehend English that well. Who knows. I drove back home 30 minutes no ice cream. Iām pretty sure who ever answered the phone was at a remote location. Or maybe was the wrong number, who knows. I couldāve paid the few extra dollars, but is the principal. Iāll never ever go back there.

This used to be a great store. We would drive all the way from Pinole, but later it seems to have been purchased by Indians. All the employees are Indians and the scoops? Cut exactly in half and for the same price. Wouldnāt go there anymore.

Went to this location this evening to buy my child an ice cream which is something that we rarely have a chance to do. Sadly the staff completely ignored us, 5 staff members running around completely avoiding any eye contact with customers. They helped 1 customer, that was it, and still, nothing, no āHi welcome weāll be right with youā So after 5 minutes of waiting to be acknowledged or helped we left.. This shop has extremely bad customer service, the owner of the business should sneak someone in to experience it firsthand and see for themselves, your staff are going to ruin your business if indeed it is supposed to be customer facing, which was how I always thought Baskin Robins was supposed to be run, a nice place for families to stop for an ice cream, but apparently not at this shop as the only child in the store tonight was completely ignored while staff ran around filling phone orders, maybe? Or were just pretending to look busy? Not sure, itās a mystery, it was a complete waste of our time and of course super disappointing for my kid. We wonāt go back, horrible place, poor excuse for an ice cream shop.

Today I watched as our server's hair braids dropped down and touched the cone as he was scooping ice cream. As he was waiting to use the cash register, he was looking at his phone and licking his finger. Completely gross and unprofessional.
I've seen other sanitary issues at this location, from uncovered 1+ foot long beards, to employees touching cones directly.
Never going back here. This location didn't have these problems a year or two ago, so I wonder if the management changed.

I just realized today that these guys are coming from outside and putting on gloves without washing hands first. So they are touching the glove with unwashed hands and then touching ice cream cones with those gloves. Ewww! I was coming to this store often Iām done. Iāll go to another one. This should be mandatory for all sites and should be common sense.. when you enter the building from outdoors wash your hands.
Just ordered capuccino shake in LARGE. Was amazing. ? cold nā big and great to eat. There was like 17 people working there tho ?????????? all good fast shake thanks was great ??
