We absolutely love Cafe9ine and the owner Merceda! We have become regulars and pick up lunch on a weekly basis. The ingredients are always fresh, flavorful, and filling. The service is fast and friendly. Recently, Merceda catered a family gathering and the food was a hit! We ordered extra food but NOTHING was left at the end... Everyone grabbed any leftovers, and people commented on how tasty everything was. We cannot recommend this place more!

Great breakfast spot and very filling. I stumbled upon this cafe a few Fridays ago. I opted for the vegetarian. The owner/cook (think she was the lady who took my order and made the breakfast bagel) didn't skimp on the ingredients, not sure of the calorie count, but I was full the rest of the day. Located in the back corner of this small plaza, plenty of parking or street parking. Please note that it's a cash-less establishment. There are a few benches outside of the cafe. Friendly service, fair pricing, easy parking, I'll visit again soon. #36/2022

What a cute little coffee shop I stumbled upon. I'm so glad I decided to give this place a try not only was the owner very welcoming during a rush the food that you order is fresh, delicious and worth the wait. I will definitely be spreading the word about this coffee shop. They were open on Thanksgiving which was great for people who celebrate but still needed that morning pick me up. : )

My husband and I stopped in here on our way through town and picked up two breakfast burritos. They were so fresh and delicious! We eat a lot of breakfast burritos, and we both felt like this was one of the best. Would recommend the bacon and avocado combo!

If you're in El Cerrito, do yourself a favor in please stop bye this café. The food is so fresh and tasty. I get the breakfast sandwich every time with avocado and bacon on the everything bagel. It hits the spot. the coffee is local and always good as well. The owner is very sweet and make sure that you get everything that you need their menu has so many options and has details of what's on each item. It is pretty self-explanatory. Worth every penny.
