We had roasted chicken, paella, and steaks. The steaks were perfectly done, the chicken had a nice spice rub, there was a lot of seafood in the paella, and all the servings were generous. The service was hospitable. This is one of our favorite restaurants.

Parking: The restaurant shares a lot with several other restaurants and businesses. It’s usually pretty full at dinner time, but we always find a spot.

This is my second experience with Peruvian food all I can say is I was blown away by the delicious, flavor forward, beautifully presented food. I had ordered takeout my first try fried fish with the garlic rice and some Creole onions 10 out of 10. 2 days later I had to go to the location took my grandfather, who is a very picky eater, and my brother. We were waited on by the personable and kind owner (folks), all I can say is she's amazing, that is a one woman Army right there. I'm positive there's an amazing team behind her with the way that our food came out. You can taste the pride and the love and the food.
For food we had :
The Frito platter which consisted of fried sweet potatoes fried yucca and delectable sweet plantains with 2 dipping sauces 10 out of 10
Miti Miti is a combination drink a Peruvian agua frescas, passionfruit and Peruvian red corn and cinnamon. So we'll balanced and healthy( rich w/ antioxidantes) 10 out of 10
Mono burger is stacked two patties, cheese, fried egg, tomatoes. If you say you're hungry after this I question you. Comes with a side of crispy fries. My brother said he would give it a 7 out of 10. His reasoning he's not used to how the Patty is seasoned which has herbs and very fresh bold flavors throughout.
My grandfather and I both had the fried fish and tI was consistent we both left with clean plates. Next time I go I'll try the Lomo saltado or the rotisserie chicken both looked and smelled amazing.
Please support your community, they have live music on the weekends, a very comfortable and homie space with delicious food. This place is a Hidden Gem that should not be hidden.

Food was amazing! Staff were warm and friendly and the service was quick. The restaurant is clean and the ambiance gives the comfort of family and authentic culture. The portions were large and literally everything was tasty. We can’t wait to come back with friends. This a gem and it’ll become a staple for our family.

Great service as a first timer! The Chupe de camarones was extremely good with an authentic taste. Looking forward to trying more of the dishes! Don’t forget to try the passionfruit beverage as well!

I had an amazing experience at this Peruvian restaurant! The food was bursting with flavor, and as cooked to perfection. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. As a lovely surprise, they even sent us home with a delicious dessert treat. I highly recommend this gem for anyone craving authentic Peruvian cuisine!

My god I can’t say how much I love this place. Amazing is not even enough of a good description of how much I enjoyed the food! Extremely helpful and welcoming staff, I will definitely be coming back here more often.

Having lived in Peru, I was blown away by the authentic flavors here at El Mono. We tried virtually every appetizer and were not disappointed! And the service was amazing! Definitely will return — again and again!
