“The true test of a company, business or service is when a mistake is made. These mistakes can be the greatest opportunities to create a customer for life. I have allergies, and they suck! No onions, No garlic, and No gluten. Yes I know...it's not fun, but I have to manage. I reached out to LoCal Foodz Cali to chat with Sunny when I was first researching different meal prep services. We had a great call and talk on the phone and you could tell he really cared on the phone call. I decided to order my first order with them and placed my allergy specifications at the bottom Delivery note as there wasn't another area to insert a custom note and the allergy button did not have Garlic & Onion as a choice (who would wish such an allergy on someone?!). I received my first delivery, and wow did it smell good!! But that was the issue, if it smells good, in my experience, it probably has onions or garlic haha. So I reached out and left Sunny a voicemail, and of course I was upset & frustrated. The promise he made on the first call that they could handle this type of request and I thought I had followed the instructions properly. I left that voicemail & sent him off an email right after smelling the garlic and onions around 9 pm...he called me immediately 15 minutes later. He was greatly apologetic and told me he would make it right first thing in the morning. They owned up to the mistake, let me keep the food, which I gave to my gf, and brought my new food the next day at no cost. Since then I have made a few orders and each one has been perfect! The measurement aspect is also amazing as I can only eat smaller portions of food per meal which is another story for another time. Sunny is extremely nice and the food is perfect. “This was the most amazing gift as a new mom. My only complaint is that the food was so good my partner wanted to eat lots of it. Delivery was wonderful as I was a little outside the delivery area. Sad they are closed for a bit since I came to order this for my SIL, who I know would enjoy this too.“
“Fantastic meal delivery service in SF. $16/meal and you get a variety of proteins and veggies. They only use salt, pepper & olive oil. This is now on regular rotation in my household. You have the option to 2x your protein if you need more protein.“

My go to stop before work, each staff member has been very helpful with selection of items for breakfast or lunch and building points towards rewards as well as helping me redeem awards through the app, that seem to add up quickly ! “Really enjoying this service. Food is worth it. Returning the containers takes a little getting used to, but is better for the environment. I wish their delivery window was a little tighter (Weds 1-6pm) or earlier (to have Wednesday lunch covered). Glad to be supporting this small business.“
