Love the pupusas with salsa de tomate con curtido, love it with, orchata Salvadorena or if there's non, with orchata mexicana, love the super tacos of any meat specially carnitas .Recommend taste freshly home made

Forgot about this tiny family owned gem on San Pablo Avenue in El Cerrito.Been there several times and had tacos. These are authentic rather than the ones that I'm use to which were fried.Still getting use to the ones with the soft shells. But I had chicken enchiladas this time and it knocked me out of my seat.I order two with the green sauce with rice and orange juice. It was so good and not because I was hungry. It just went down smoothly.Maybe it was the cheese. My neighbor, Mike, goes there all the time.I can't wait until they have indoor dining again.I will be bringing my co-workers and friends.I gave it 4 stars as you have to order chips on the side and we had to eat outside. There was no atmosphere and it was chilly. It may be totally different when more people are there to liven the place.Take out has its disadvantages.

It was OK. A large taco, filling was good but a bit rummy(salsa).

Second time coming here in a few years since they took over the previous Mexican restaurant that was here I think it was called Las Palmas.First time I ordered burritos here and the food was just okay because the rice in the burrito was hard like it was undercooked and thought that maybe it was a one time thing and I was just not lucky that day. This second time visiting I ordered burritos and "super tacos". There was nothing super about the tacos. Two pieces of very dry tortillas that was on the grill top too long with a bit of cheese and topped with very dry salty Carne asada. That's it. Nothing super about that taco. Was expecting fluffy tortillas with juicy beef and some onions cilantro and maybe tomatoes with a hint of lime. Nope.. The burritos I ordered were "wet burritos" which is a burrito in a red sauce which I think it is enchilada sauce? First burrito was carne asada and second was al pastor (pork). Both burritos were generous sized and filling but the rice was hard and undercooked. The Carne asada filling was dry and salty. The al pastor pork meat was better but a bit flavorless. There was very minimal salsa in the burritos so it was a bit in the dry side. The beans inside were good though, I liked them. The red enchilada sauce that makes it a "wet burrito" was just too salty which hid the flavors of all the ingredients in that sauce.I gave the review 3 stars only because the food i got was just a bit less than okay but the staff was really nice. I'm sure there must be other food there that might be better tasting.

We went on a slow afternoon. The papusas were a bit too thick with not enough filling. The rice and beans were not properly cooked with a touch of stale. Rest, the person taking our order was nice!

Very elegant and welcoming place. They provide large portions and for fair rates. We loved the menu a lot and the waiters were super friendly and explanatory. Will definitely recommend this spot.

We like a lot eating out. Yesterday we came to this excellent restaurant which friends recommended to us. We passed a lovely experience there with first-rate meal and a professional team and a professional chef. We added this restaurant in our phone list and we shall surely come back soon. We highly recommend.

Nice staff, order prepared quickly & correctly with fresh ingredients, but generally unimpressive food flavor-wise. It's only fair to say that I know nothing about Salvadoran food; however, our "quesadilla" was actually a burrito, and my flautas were really sort-of deep-fried pupusas. The guacomole and pico de Gallo were good, the chips fresh and fine. Generally, all the main items would have benefited from more seasoning/flavoring, i.e., some more chiles, cumin, onions . . .
