“This was my first time here. We chose lunch time to try their food. Their food was above and beyond. The protein was perfect, and their noodles were not oily and had a wonderfully flavor. I had the Beijing chicken which was crispy with a sweet and spicy tomato based sauce. What a wonderful and satisfying dish. The lunch special also comes with hot and sour soup that tasted great and was fresh and hot.“

“An absolute gem!!! I was greeted immediately upon entering. The space was warm, with a mix of funky from the amazing one-of-a-kind mural to the artistically written menu. It felt classy...... inviting. The music was at the perfect level to enjoy, yet still be engaged in conversation. I ordered "Blood on the tracks " YUMMMMY IPA!!! ? “Maybe the very best brussel sprouts I have ever eaten. Our server was so sure of herself, I decided to let her choose my dish. She picked the aioli spicy chicken sandwich (I would have picked a burger). I am glad I did. I was able to enjoy something delightful I may not have ever tried. Definitely a food stop in Folsom. I found it by looking at reviews. Represa Grill had the highest rating and well deserved.“

We typically go to Power House to hear the bands, with all the other 40 & 50 yr old’ Generation Xer’s, but then sneak on over to Scarlett’s between sets, hoping not to rum into our daughters! 😩 Especially if we end up on the stage! 🙄 The best OG music, the cutest’ far too young boys! But for a little while we go back in time, and dance like we did in our 20’s, thinking we are much cooler than we are! 🥴😩🙃 So much Fun, and the best patio and Martini’s in Folsom!“

“Went to The Brass Tap last night for the first time and for my wife's early birthday celebration.

A few highlights:
1. Service and ambiance are fantastic, especially if you love sports. Service truly was the hero, but more on other good stuff and opportunities to come.

2. Drinks - My wife had a nice Chardonnay and I enjoyed one of the many fantastic brews on draft and in bottle. A small nit pick would be if you arrive during happy hour and last drinks just served outside of happy hour, as it was busy, let's not upcharge as if we arrived after happy hour ended.

3. Food - We ordered a small appetizer of loaded crinkle cut fries. If you don't like sour cream, make sure to ask for it to be left off, but bacon, cheese, and fries together were awesome. The Mrs asked for sliced jalapeños on top and wouldn't you know, they were freshly cut vs jar bought. Kudos and truly made the difference.

We moved into dinner and it didn't miss, in fact, my wife's soft tacos and my flat bread option were both very good. With the soft tacos, the chips and salsa (nice kick) were spot on!!

Not looking for an area to critique, but the restaurant could use some detail on the walls and a revamp of the falling apart and extremely dirty menus, but the outstanding service with a smile won over the visit.

Guess one last thing I would mention, as I overheard one employee try to explain the best they could do was window tint doing very little to step setting sun from blinding so many, would be to but rollable shades on all windows.

“You are missing out if you haven’t tried it. Not only is La Calle my favorite restaurant in Folsom, but my favorite ever! The two owners are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. They are always in a good mood, always willing to chat with guests, and they make you feel like family which a lot of places don’t nowadays. Probably the cleanest restaurant in Folsom. If you ever have people visiting from out of town, take them here first!“
