Great food and even better service
Excellent food quality and portions.
Cafe Vida was recommended by my Airbnb host, Lucie-Pearl Conolly. My travel-mate and I went and found it to be amazing! The Chicken Marsalla was SO delicious! Everything was fresh and had such delightful, robust taste. And then we had the carrot cake! OH MY! Both the cake and the frosting just melts in your mouth. My next visit to Santa Monica will definitely include another visit to Cafe Vida!

Cafe Vida is a gem of a cafe with great food and a great vibe. The staff is quick, friendly, and very present and engaged, expertly handling custom orders and food allergies. There are ample places to sit, lots of computer charging ports, and fire pits outside.
The food is delicious and surprisingly good. It is a perfect spot for sandwiches, like the chicken jalapeño melt, and for breakfast, including a highly recommended breakfast sandwich. Their soups, taco plater on Tuesdays, and smoothies are also excellent. For coffee, they offer choices like an iced vanilla latte, Cappuccino, Latte, and Americano. Every dish looks delicious, making it a place definitely worth recommending.
