Ordered fresh fish for sushi. The Ora King salmon was amazing. The "otoro" tuna was a joke. Don't waste your time. They either don't know what good tuna is, or they didn't think I would know the difference. Either way, I wouldn't count on them for sushi again.
Kai Gourmet is a seafood retailer with a pop up sale every Friday morning selling high quality seafood from their warehouse in El Segundo. I met the owner from a business engagement and he introduced me to the New Zealand Ora King Salmon which is flown in overnight. This species is considered the Rolls Royce of seafood and served at fine restaurants in Southern California.
