Such a cute set up. I came in with my 2 year old to check out the books and they had a kid area. It's nice cause you can check out books while your kids play which is super helpful. They have a good variety of tables so you can get work done too. I didn't try their drinks but will their menu looks good! Will def come back!

I just had my daughters 16th bday here . It is a great venue for a variety of events. It is extremely reasonably priced. They can move things around to suite your event. They give you the option to have the cafe open or bring your own food. You can also choose to have someone there to take book purchases during the event if you would like. Also Emily the owner is a very kind person and l always enjoy our interactions.

This is such a wonderful spot! A coffee shop and a bookstore? Yes, please!!!! I had a latte and it was absolutely delicious. My husband had a matcha latte and he loved it. My friends really enjoyed their coffee and food items, as well. The bookstore has several options for any interest you may have. The children's play area is so cute and definitely keeps the kids entertained. I noticed they had a quiet room, and though I didn't visit it, I love the idea.

Over priced and under sized offerings. Most items come from outside and aren't made there

Delightful Place. Went to meet a group of friends. Started out with a Chai Latte which was carefully made and delicious. Staff was friendly and experienced, and both the bookstore portion and the café were clean and well laid out. It is well worth visiting!

This is my favorite bookstore ever. I'm disabled and I love how easy it is to get in and out of.They have a fantastic selection of books. There food is super yummy. They have the best tea I've ever had as well as the best Macha latte. The staff is incredible, so sweet, friendly and knowledgeable. You definitely feel welcome when you come here. I love how inclusive and friendly this store is. They have new and used books and when they don't have something I can usually order it online and pick it up in store next time I'm in. They even have incredible events. They truly are building a beautiful community. If you haven't been here you should go.

Was at this place a couple of weeks ago after getting several recommendations... Really wish I had decided against it. Some of the employees seemed like they were so unhappy, I even watched one ask for help from a coworker (I'm assuming manager?) and the help was never given. Why have a name like a Seat at the Table if you won't even sit at the same table as your employees? Help them out! Not to mention this place is so overrated, especially with their subpar cafe. Do yourself a favor and just skip this table.

came to visit this bookstore in passing, heard wonderful things about it and always looking to support a local queer space but was surprised to find that this place is cold, surface level, and a knock off of many other types of bookstores looking to be a corporate big shot. mainly white staff that could not give me pointers in books not related to the mainstream #1 nyc bestsellers list and was not too amazed by their cafe component. surprised this place as 4.5 stars when the reality of it is that it’s exactly like all other white-centric establishments in california. pretty sure amazon would algorithm a better set of queer media than this place.

Very cute little independent bookstore/cafe. The cafe is half the size of the store. Cute concept with a chill and low key atmosphere. Very warm and welcoming employees. Support small local businesses.

I was looking for a place to come get work done and stumbled across this place! They serve food and drinks and offer a cute little library section with a decent amount of great books. The staff were very friendly and the vibes here are more than welcoming! There are a decent amount of chairs and tables to sit and work at. The only thing I did not like was that the table chairs they have are not that comfortable and there are not a lot of places to charge your laptop / tablets. I suggest you have your electronics fully charged before coming just in case! They have pretty strong and stable WiFi which was perfect for getting my work done. The music playing in the background was not too loud and was the kind of music that you could study to. Overall, I think I found a great new spot to come to study and get some work done and will definitely come back again!

Asattb always has amazing food and drinks, and remains a very inclusive and welcoming space. My friends and I go here to study and talk all the time, and the employees are always extremely kind and helpful.
