It has been about a year since we ate at Bert's. The restaurant needs someone to pay attention to the details. Service was slow and essential things were missing such as silverware, butter for pancakes and toast. Beverages were never refilled by the server but by another employee. Our table was sticky as well as all the condiments. There were many cobwebs outside hanging from the eaves. The bright note was that most of the employees were helpful and accommodating when asked for help. Prices were overall reasonable and the menu had a good selection.

Decided to treat my daughter, which was home from college to Bert’s diner The service was great. BUT The breakfast was terrible had the steak and eggs. I asked for medium rare Steak was more in the burnt side The potatoes were all overly cooked I’m not gonna even mention the fried jalapeño I got ! ? what happened? This place used to be very good are there new cooks?

The food and service was great; but it was really dirty. There were cob webs and flies close to the seating. Everything was sticky or dirty, especially the condiments. We ate around 1030am so you can’t blame it on a busy day. Felt gross when we left and doubt I’ll return. We spend over $100.

Stopped at Bert’s Diner going home from Sacramento to Jackson area. Our server was Tessa. She was great!! Fun and nice. Food was great too. Definitely a great find!!!!!
