I had Bert's Benedict with hash browns. The Benedict was awesome with nice thick sliced grilled ham, but the hash browns tasted like old vegetable oil. The country potatoes would have been a better choice. Lots of food, nice and hot, and very filling. I enjoyed the glass block and the mini jukebox selection machines at every booth, like when I was a kid. The service was warm and friendly, and the coffee was very good. I recommend!
The food is consistently good, portions are generous, and everything tastes like solid comfort food done right. Service is friendly and fast, and the atmosphere feels like a true local spot.
