Been here a few times and the lasagna is our favorite, along with the house salad and bread. The fresh garlic butter is a wonderful touch. But their service is always hit and miss. They open at 2pm on weekdays, but don’t serve any dinner options until 5pm. Not even a limited menu with mains. They’ll offer you a mediocre happy hour menu and say you need to wait another 30-60 minutes to order dinner. Needless to say, they walked a sale that night. It was off putting....
I've wanted to try this place since moving to Elk Grove so I was excited to eat here for date night. Unfortunately, we were not impressed at all. The service wasn't terrible but wasn't great either, the server never refilled our water glasses and forgot our bread but overall seemed pleasant. The best part of the meal was probably the fresh bread with garlic butter and the jolly rancher cocktail my husband ordered. The steak was overcooked and bland, the veggies...
We love their food, service, and restaurant so much that we are having our daughter's wedding reception here! The Brickhouse has extremely reasonable rates, an easy to follow event contracts, and excellent customer service. Their manager, Chris, is very attentive and a great guy to work with. Let me say it again, their food is supreme. Hats off to the chef's! ?? ??
