Ordered lunch baskets; calamari w/ fries & calamari w/ onion rings. The calamari was the overcooked ( rubbery), fries were average, nothing special. The onion rings were great! Our waitress was fantastic!!
But, the food was marginal. Definitely would not go out of my way to eat there again.

Arrived on a Friday for our first-ever visit, so very slow. Waiter Johnathan's service was 1st Class. We ordered Captain's boil; mild spicy in Cajun garlic butter sauce & it was FANTASTIC - Cajun Flavor out of this World! Highly recommend. We'll definitely be back!

The food was great. But when asked for water again the waitress just forgot about me and was serving other customers. The water brought to me when asked for it again before I was already leaving.

horrible experience. staff are extremely rude do not go here and if you do be careful because you might get charged double for things you didn’t order. ended up paying over $140 for what was supposed to be a $60 bag. the server was childish and very unprofessional and the manager just said sorry and seemed lost.

I went to celebrate my birthday. I live next door. The food has been good since they opened. I enjoy the crab boils but the catfish, oysters and shrimp combo with sweet potatoes or Cajun fries are good too. Customer friendly service.

Don't even bother coming in at 9 pm. Even though hours of operation shows open til 10pm for dine- in, they won't sit you anymore and offer only to go order.

I like the comfortable and huge dining room at Captain Crab Seafood Restaurant in Elk Grove. They have one of the biggest dining rooms for the type of boiling seafood restaurant in the Sacramento area. However, I wish the favor could be a little stronger on their boiling seafood. I have the Cajun seasoning with medium spicy. It hardly tasted of any seasoning at all. It is very little spicy as well. So you may want to order flaming hot or volcano if you like spicy seafood. The Cajun fries don’t taste with enough seasoning as well. The service is slow, considering not too many customers dine in at the time.

Dear Captain Crab Management,

I am writing to formally report a deeply disappointing and hurtful experience I had at your location on June 18 at approximately 9:20 PM.

As I approached the main entrance, I noticed that foggers were running, which made it unsafe to enter through that door. I chose to enter through an alternate door that was already open. Upon entering, the receptionist on duty treated me with shocking disrespect and displayed clear bias based on my skin color. Her tone, body language, and words were inappropriate, unwelcoming, and humiliating.

This kind of discriminatory behavior is unacceptable, especially in a professional and customer-facing environment. I kindly request that management and higher authorities review the security footage from the time and date mentioned, and take appropriate disciplinary action against the receptionist involved. Such behavior must be addressed so that no other customer has to experience racism or prejudice at your establishment.

I hope your team takes this matter seriously and ensures a respectful, inclusive atmosphere for all patrons in the future.
