I went to celebrate my birthday. I live next door. The food has been good since they opened. I enjoy the crab boils but the catfish, oysters and shrimp combo with sweet potatoes or Cajun fries are good too. Customer friendly service.

I like the comfortable and huge dining room at Captain Crab Seafood Restaurant in Elk Grove. They have one of the biggest dining rooms for the type of boiling seafood restaurant in the Sacramento area. However, I wish the favor could be a little stronger on their boiling seafood. I have the Cajun seasoning with medium spicy. It hardly tasted of any seasoning at all. It is very little spicy as well. So you may want to order flaming hot or volcano if you like spicy seafood. My first Seafood boil in a very long time. While I'm not a pro in this field, as a customer i was pleased. For me the food was great, the portions were generous, and the price was fair. Everyone in our party of three agreed here.
