Was excited to try a new place with a friend but we were both quickly disappointed. 1 star for the service + 1 star for the ice cream at the end to equal 2 stars. The inside was very nice, clean, and very nicely decorated. Ordering was very quick and food came out very fast. Server was very attentive, a bit too attentive (he did come by 3 separate times asking if we wanted to order more food within the span of less than 10 minutes). Anyways the food wasn't very good. It was very subpar. The meat didn't taste very good. The beef bulgulgi wasn't seasoned or marinated, it looked plain. The spicy pork bulgulgi was very fatty. The rice wasn't washed properly and tasty very starchy. The yang yum popcorn chicken was alright, the sauce wasn't tossed so the chicken wasn't coated, but the chicken tasted pretty good. Portions are very large per order as well so it built up a lot of food on the t Overall my friend and I agreed that the food here was just not that good.

The food was great and the service was spectacular. We are full after finishing our 2nd meat pick. The best part is when you walk in, you can't even smell the bbq smoke. This place is superior to other Korean bbq. I will definitely come back!

Ember gave us a quality place to eat, drink, and bond. My favorites were their cheesy ramen and bulgogi. I appreciate the interior designs too. One of the people who served us was the owner himself! He introduced us to 1) my new favorite soju (yuzu + elderflower + 18% alc content ‍) apparently one of the only places to find this in Northern California 2) some stories about the making of Ember 3) warm welcome to this new restaurant! The rest of the staff who helped us were friendly and attentive too

Yummy!! I love the bright interior and the openness of this restaurant. The best part is that it is not smokey at all! Service was quick and we luckily were able to get a seat quick. Food was good. I love that they had the cold noodles. Quality was overall very good and the choices of meats can't be beat. Brisket, bulgogi, and galbi are our go tos.

First of all, we were there Saturday night and our waitress is coughing aggressively. Then me and my husband are having flu/covid symptoms the second day. Never thought having a dinner would ruin my week.

Shitty place. Our waiter was coughing aggressively without mask. We were there Saturday night. And now we all got flu symptoms and it ruined my week. The food also not fresh. 0/10

This place was excellent! I was a little nervous to try a new KBBQ place but it did not disappoint. We went for lunch and it was only $27 per person, honestly a steal! I am gluten free and had quite a few options and the waiter was really helpful. I could eat the cheese corn and the kimchi soup from the appetizers, the kimchi soup was absolutely delicious! My wife was able to get so many delicious marinated meats, but the non marinated ones I could eat were just as delicious. The ambiance was fun too, I really loved the neon signs. We can't wait to come back!

Another AYCE KBBQ spot has opened up. We came in during dinner time on a Friday night and only waited 5 mins to get seated. Our host/server was very enthusiastic and helpful. The selection here is pretty standard to other places, but they do have items like beef tongue, cold noodle, and the Korean pancake that you don't normally see on other restaurant's menu. I would like to give this place a 4.5 rating, but sadly Yelp doesn't let me do it. It was a great place. Unlike most KBBQ places, the lighting was really good, which I prefer over dim lighting. Just a few things that kept me from giving it a 5 star rating. There just seemed like multiple staff would keep coming to our table and adjusting the grill fire back and forth. I also thought the cut of beef belly looked messy. Other than that, I'm excited to come back and try other items.

Service was outstanding! Food came out less than 5 mins of ordering. Attentive waiter and the atmosphere was nice. Will definitely come back. Best service of any kbbq I've been to in Sac.

surprisingly not busy today maybe because of the rain? but yay for us because it gave us super great service and our food came out so fast!!! adults $37/kids $17. but lots of choice for both. popcorn chicken is crispy and cut small which is good. GET - galbi - popcorn chicken - garlic fries - garlic pork belly

Not good compare to Gogi and its price. $40 per person you get meat that tastes stale.

Went here on a Friday night and the service was amazing. So smooth, the server was very attentive, and the sides and extras were better than all other kbbq places in the area. Delicious. Additionally the layout of the place and the smoke absorption was so much better you didn't have to worry about it in your face! Great place!

The food here was seasoned well and the service was even better 10 out of 10 recommend for a KBBQ place in the Elk Grove area. Our server Derek was wonderful. He was very attentive.
