Amazing amazing chicken rice, they used to have another location but they moved here. Nice customer service and clean environment. Love their chicken rice with dark meat, love their sauce, highly recommend this location and will definitely be back!

My wife is Thai and very, very, very picky about her Thai food (she’ll even go back in the kitchen at some restaurants to interview the chef, see if they’re up to snuff). She says Khao Man Gai is very hard to make good and that this place has some of the best she’s tasted (and remember, she’s really, really, really picky). I like their Crizp chicken (I sub out the sweet chili sauce for the Soy Bean Sauce). When I get home I throw some more cilantro and sliced cucumbers on top. We’re going back today for more, it’s very addictive! I think they put a lot of love into their cooking, always been satisfied with them! Keep up the great work!

Three stars because I really didn't know what to expect. This is not a traditional Asian restaurant. I don't know what Gai is, still don't, other than it wasn't anything I was interested in trying. I'm not a big seafood person and could sit and eat a full serving of pork fried rice. The menu is limited and specific. The ambiance is fast--casual. Beyond Gai there isn't much on the menu. Look it up before you go (my mistake).

Fast and friendly counter service!! I've had the classic and crisp chicken and rice plates. The sauces are delicious!! Always a satisfying meal!

We ordered online and went in the store for pick up. The cashier was very friendly and patient. It was our first time ordering from this place which used to be T Rex boba place. She explained a couple of stuff on the menus. Didn't rush/brush us off. Food was great. Go the steam rice plate which you can choose the option to have breast or thighs as your protein. The chicken suprisingly was good. It looks like it might be blend but actually has flavor to it. The second we got was crispy chicken plate and that was delicious. Both plates get 5/5. Tried the herbal jelly drink. It is just milk with syrup and grass jelly. Nothing like a milk or something. Will be back to try more stuff on the menu.

I'm shocked the food is ranked so highly. I felt as if the crunchy Gai was definitely cooked in old oil, the rice also tasted like it was tossed in old oil. The chicken noodle soup had noodles that were not fully cooked and was EXTREMELY oily. It was super hard to drink the soup because of that. The tan tan mien used similar noodles to the chicken noodle soup (thick round rice noodles) which almost defeats the purpose because the noodles can't soak up the sauce. All in all I would probably not come back - but it's okay if you need something quick to pick up. It also may be that I caught them on a bad day.

I went in around 2 PM. And it wasn’t that busy so the food came out pretty quick. I always come here every now and then, but I was gone for a bit for vacation and the first thing I thought was this place. They have really good food and the rice taste so much better than regular rice.

Updated! Ive tried more of their stuff and i think their main chicken dishes r the best! Their curry dish is okay, their curry itself is pretty sweet but also spicy, theres also a TON of veg, like onion's jalepeno and tomatoes lol, and imo its not as much as their other dishes.

First time in. I wanted to try their mango with sweet sticky rice since I've been receiving the mailers and the pic in the ad makes it look so good. Finally, stopped to order take out. The mango sticky rice was good. Mangos were a bit tart but it complemented the sweet sticky rice. Also ordered the curry chicken with rice. It was ok.

I had the take 2 and both chicken are good. I like how the chicken was lightly battered. It does come with both sauces to dip. Also, it came with a side of soup, it was bland. The rice could be more flavorful. The thai tea has a strong flavor profile which i enjoyed. I do not recommend the anchan lemonade. The citrus or citron or whatever thats used on the bottom was bitter and even when mixed together still does not taste good.

I love this spot. Simple menu, timely, clean, and close to home. The quality is the same every time. It's not bad for you, either. It's a great concept and reliably good halal chicken!

The food is very good. At first I thought a bit bland, but then used the sauce that came with it and wow! Changed everything! Large portions. I ordered the original with the Anchan Lemon and mango sticky rice. I had to take the desert home.

Gai N Rice is a small family owned restaurant specializing in Thai Chicken and Rice. My two favorite options they offer are the Classic and the Take2 options. The classic offers a lean white meat and classic dark meat chicken along with their fragrant jasmine rice while the Take2 comes with lean white meat chicken and fried chicken. All of their choices come with a house made chicken broth and cucumbers with a side sauce. Gai N Rice also offers a selection of drinks to accompany their delicious chicken offerings. The atmosphere of the restaurant is casual and inviting. It makes for a great place to grab a meal and study. If you're looking for Chicken and Rice, make sure to check out Gai N Rice!
